I prefer this case to other Otterboxes, I don’t like the built-in plastic screen protector on some, or the case in a case with the plastic skeleton that snaps together. The more casual yet effective approach to this style for me is much nicer. Doesn’t interfere with the glass privacy screen protector I chose. The charging port cover is nice to keep dirt, lint, and debris out. The only preference I have that is hard to come by in any case, is subdued buttons on the side. So either have enlarged bulbous air pocket corners so when the phone is on its side edge, the buttons aren’t the first thing touching the surface, leaving it stable and the buttons unpressed. Or have slightly thicker sides so the button covers are even with side. Minor personal preference, but I’ve yet to find a “perfect” phone or case, so life goes on.
I've been using OtterBox Commuter cases for a long time and even though I drop my phone occasionally, I have never cracked a screen. The lightning port cover is great because it keeps out the dust bunnies. I've tried a lot of cases, but OtterBox is my go to case.
I am continually having to push my phone back into the case. The rubber interior portion is on my phone but on the bottom it comes out of the hard plastic piece. I think I am going to have to change cases.

Nice case but too thick to plug in chargwr

I upgraded my phone and got the new commuter case. When I received it, I loved it as much as I loved the one I had previously (with the iphone10s.) then I went to charge the phone.... the bottom lip appears to be too thick as I can’t get the charger close enough to the phone?!

I’m liking the sturdy protective functionality, but I’m glad I switched from the other military grade competitor even though waterproof wasn’t an option in this line. The blue color is stunning snd I get repeated compliments and queries about the source!
Had an otterbox cover on previous phone that always kept my phone safe. New phone - new case had to be an Otterbox.
I would recommend this to a friend!
