So this is my 3rd case so far for my iPhone 12 Pro. I have bought all Otterbox so far. I did not realize how TIGHT of a fit the cases would have been. So much that when I got my new phone and I picked out an Otterbox case, I thought I had the wrong size. I thought I was going to break my phone trying to get the case in. Long story short, this may be my favorite case yet. It was SO easy to put on my phone!! I have had a commuter before in the past for my iPhone X, and it enjoyed it. So I thought I would try it with my new phone, and it is great! The light blue is a beautiful color! It looks great on my black iPhone 12 Pro! If you want a easy case to put on, get this one!! Yes the buttons on the side are a little hard to push, but they will ease up with more use! I love it!
I’ve had this case for a couple weeks now and despite a few drops my phone is completely fine. The case fits very well and my phone feels protected. The rubber on the back is nice and grippy so it won’t slide across a table. Overall I’m very happy with this purchase.
I got a new phone and have always had otterbox cases. While pricy they are usually super great. Very disappointed with their new design including that you buy a separate screen protector for the same price as the case. I’d rather just pay 60 for both than 40 for each. Overpriced
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Though this case style has never included a built-in screen protector, that option was removed from our Defender Series cases after our engineers determined that the user experience with the screen was actually hampered by built-in screen protection. Need channel locks to operate side buttons , way too stiff.

It requires a heavy duty wireless charger to be able to charge. I could not get the Apple charger to work with it

We're so sorry to hear about your troubles with this Commuter Series case in terms of wireless charging. This is strange to hear because this case was designed to be fully compatible with Apple's MagSafe as well as Qi Wireless charging.
That could be due to any of a few different factors, such as the particular platform being used and the specific placement of the Apple/Otter combo on it. In addition, you might find it helpful to reboot both your device and charger and also to check and see if there have been any firmware or operating system updates to either.

This is the 4th Otter box I have purchased for our family. They are all great. One defender and three commuters. Wish they sold a Red for my iphone 11, red phone. But, oh well.
