I like the design of the case and the cause but I feel that the case could have been made a little better. The 1st time I dropped my phone in the case a piece of my case chipped off and from there it went downhill. Sometimes I’m in a rush and my phone may fall out my hands so I needa case that is durable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not really Magsafe compatible

Yes, it will technically charge via magsafe, but the design of the case means most magsafe chargers won't actually 'grip' the phone, and so it falls off unless you're using a flat charging mat. So fails the 'safe' part.
Otherwise, it's a good, slim case that does what it's supposed to.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Although the LifeProof WĀKE will allow for a charge from the MagSafe charger to pass through to the iPhone, it is accurate that it won't provide a magnetic connection between the two. If that's a must for Apple/Otter experience, we do have some case options to accommodate, which you can check out via the link below!
