Beautiful, but ended up returning…

I wanted to love this case, and I do love how it looks! The reason I returned it was because the location of the Popsocket and because it is sunken into the case, it wouldn’t work on my Popsocket car mount and didn’t allow the normal space for your fingers to hold the phone with the Popsocket. Otherwise awesome case!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

the popsocket is great when are you using it with your hands to hold it. It does not work great when you want to use it as a stand when watching a video. it's directly centered so the weight of the phone is not balanced. I could buy a otter box and just add my own popsocket.

Great to know the integrated PopSockets component of the Otter + Pop Symmetry Series Case is working out as a means to keep a firm handle on your iPhone, but we're sorry that you've run into some trouble when using it as a stand.
For propping up some of the more sizable devices like your iPhone 12 Pro Max, PopSockets recommends expanding and then tilting or “kinking” the PopTop to one side for a more stable experience. In addition, it will be helpful to have the heavier camera side of the device be closer to the surface that you’re placing it on to avoid things getting a bit top-heavy.

I recently purchased the iPhone 12 Pro Max and I knew that I would protect it with a Otterbox Symmetry case, since I had one on my previous iPhone and it never disappointed after many drops and even a hard fall while out running. I immediately fell in love with with the pop socket version when I saw it, I’ve only had it a few weeks so I haven’t yet dropped the phone so I can’t speak to it’s level of protection but it certainly feels hefty with its hard outer plastic case. Which brings me to my one criticism, the case has no give and it’s very hard to take on and off so if you’re the type that needs to frequently remove the case please keep that in mind.

I bought this a few weeks ago when I ordered my iPhone 12 pro max. I absolutely love the case so far! It has a lot of protection, and I like how the pop socket is indented into the case a little bit so that it fits in my pocket better

I’ve bought Otterbox cases for all my phones and after years with this protective case, my phones always look brand new when it’s time to trade in. I love the built in pop socket since it’s a pretty heavy phone I’m using. The only bummer is with the new iPhone 12 pro Max case, it won’t charge on my wireless charger but I still love it!

This one is nothing like otterbox I have been using. This is very hard plastic cover, no rubber cushion to protect the cell phone front and back from crack. Have to returned it !

Not as advertised, too difficult to fit the phone in the case. It doesn't pop up the phone as shown in ads, the phone doesn't stay still and the POP retracts back in the case.
