After one day of using this case, it was so tight around my phone that it would not come off. I had such an incredibly difficult time (20 minutes) removing the stiff case from my iPhone 12 pro max. In addition, the pop socket broke within 6 hours of having the phone. I would stay far away from this case.

Hi Jar,
We're so sorry about your recent experience with this Otter + Pop Symmetry Series case. When installing/removing a Symmetry Series case for iPhone 12/12 Pro/12 Pro Max/12 mini, we recommend starting with the upper right corner of the device (camera and power button corner). After that, the following 3 corners should pop on/off much easier.
As for your broken PopSocket, we'd love to help you with a warranty here: bit.ly/warrantyotter
I couldn't get this to charge on the wireless charger but it's fine with the plug in charger. This integrated Pop Socket/ Otterbox combo is fantastic for people like me with Rheumatoid Arthritis. It's incredibly painful to hold my phone. Once Pop Sockets came out, I was able to hold it in a pain-free position! We have always used Otterbox to protect our phones so this combo was a no brainer. The case is beautiful and the socket can be changed out to keep things interesting.
I like the color of this case and the built-in Pop Socket. I find it easy to pop out and it is easy to hold. The case seems like it will protect my phone if it suffers an accidental fall. I wish it had more of a gripping type material around the edges of the case. The back of the case is on the slick side, so some rubber along the sides would make it easier to hold on to. There are no covers for the ports, but that wasn't a concern to me. The case wrap around the top of the phone enough to help against damage if you drop it - I do have a glass shield on the screen. The last thing I wanted to note is you can't just extended the pop socket and prop your phone up, I have to tip the pop socket to hold the phone, as seen in the photo.
I bought the symmetry with the built in pop socket. I liked the combo because the pop is a bit inset. It still fits well into my vehicle mount. Had my first drop in the case and it did it’s job!
The pop socket itself is very awkward and uncomfortable to hold and the stand function is not stable.

Hi Lwnshn,
We're sorry to hear you're not enjoying the Otter + Pop Symmetry Series Case.
Not sure if you've ever had the opportunity to use a PopSockets PopGrip before, but if not, it could be that you’ll just need a short bit to get used to the new dynamic. Another option to consider if hands-free viewing is a must for your Apple/Otter experience would be our Defender Series, which includes a belt clip/holster that can double as a stand.
Feel free to take a closer look at that option by following the link below, and let us know if you have any questions and we'll always be happy to help!
Nice and lightweight, and very functional. Arthritis and neuropathy in my hands due to chemo, pop socket helps me hold on to this big phone and be able to use it much easier than any other case. Would definitely recommend to all. Love the color too!!!
Just dropped my new iPhone Pro Max from my chest pocket onto concrete. Boom. Struck directly on its edge and bounced. Not a scratch on the phone nor the case. Perfect. Performed as advertised. Wasn’t sure I would like the Pop up feature on the back. It is a huge help holding the large phone with one hand and still being able to browse and type. I would definitely recommend it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought my first one about 3 weeks ago, dropped it from my bed to a carpeted floor and snapped the pop socket clean off. They did send me a replacement, However I’ve just found out I cannot wirelessly charge with this case on. I even tried removing the pop socket as recommended in some of these replies and nothing. as well, cannot use as a prop up because it’s not centred to the case and the phone ends up falling over. Super disappointed in otterbox

Hi there!
We're sorry to hear about your disappointment with your Otter + Pop Symmetry Series case! While that case was designed with Qi charging in mind, we recommend OtterBox Power accessories for best wireless charging experience, though there are plenty of non-OtterBox charging pads that perform well with our cases. We'd recommend trying out a different charging pad with your case, as some tend to perform better than others. In the meantime, if you run into any other issues with your case, feel free to call us at 1-855-688-7269, and we can get you helped out.
