I loved my previous Lifeproof Slam, but I went with the only available case for my 12 pro and it's a terrible fit. I tried resetting it multiple times, but the volume buttons were unusable. 90% of the time trying to take a screenshot resulted in the screen going to sleep. I gave it over a week trying to use it, trying to make it fit, hated this thing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been a Lifeproof customer since possibly the conception with the Iphone 4s, its the only reason I got the Iphone is because of the claims made by your FRE cases. And ever since me and my entire family and many friends have owned these incredible cases. Well I got the NEXT because I got a Iphone 12 and for the first time ever got a color I liked and wanted to be able to see. Well Lifeproof does not make a clear FRE I decided to give the NEXT a shot. Like I said after being a customer for what 8 years now and get a new phone ever other year this is just MEH as I posted. Nothing spectacular, feel kinda flimsy and the offer very little protection to the phone from things like water and face of the phone. But again I wanted to see the cool blue. And the new Iphone 12 Cases in the FRE are well to say the least a hit and miss on colors. Like I said not overly impressed, I do think that Maybe Lifeproof should contemplate and look into Clear FRE cases for customers who buy a colored phone because they like the colors. But I am just one person so who cares my thoughts but figured it was worth it anyway so if anyone like me is contemplating this they know what to expect.
Pros: Boating, Exploring, Skiing, Snowboarding, mountain biking, wakeboarding, Camping, Hiking, Rock Climbing

Short Life....

I've been using this case for 2 months and it already seems to be falling apart. When snapping it back together it doesn't connect and no longer has a tight fight. Sadly I was hoping for more....

I’m pretty clumsy, so I went out on a limb and spent the money on a more expensive case for my new phone. Not happy with how it’s held up-I’ve only had the case for about 2 weeks and I’ve dropped my phone twice. Both times, the case pops open and I have to pop it back together. Kinda disappointed considering the cost of the case. I love the color of the case, and enjoy you can see the color of my iPhone because it’s clear. Just not happy the the case doesn’t seem to stay on if I drop my phone.

I bought this case a month ago and it is horrible it doesn’t seal right and it constantly is getting water into the back of my phone. I don’t need a coin to take off the case, I can remove it with my thumb nail. Worst case I’ve brought in a long while. Will most like not purchase another case from here again.

My first experience with life proof wasn’t all that great. Several years ago, I had bought a nüüd case for my iphone 5c, and within a few days the case broke and they wouldn’t replace it for me. And now here I am with a brand new iphone that I don’t want to mess up so I thought, well let’s give life proof another chance, and i LOVE it. The case itself isn’t bulky like otter box cases can get but it’s still feels very well protected. A screen protector fits perfectly on the screen with no issues from the case. The buttons feel smooth to use & i love that the speakers and charger port are covered.
overall it’s a sturdy case and i would recommend it to just about everyone who’s looking for solid protection without the bulk of it.

The toggle piece of plastic to turn the silent button on and off on the new iPhone 12 is a piece of junk… It’s snapped off and broke on the very first use… Avoid at all costs… Waste of money
