I bought this because the 2020 FRE doesn’t work with face identification (which every other FRE does so that’s just silly). The Next case doesn’t protect nearly as well, even with the Alpha Glass but it is slimmer. The buttons, as mentioned by other reviewers, are incredibly hard to push. I do love that you can see the beautiful color of my blue phone. Since the iPhone 12 Pro is already waterproof I am not worried about that but I am a little worried about the Next case being truly dust proof. Also the flap where you open to charge your case seems cheap and I am a little worried about it ripping off, luckily LifeProof has an excellent warranty system so they will replace it if it does. All in all, it does the job but I really miss the FRE!
Pros: Boating, Exploring, Hiking, Surfing

I’ve used Lifeproof cases for years and honestly cannot bring myself to trust any other brands because I was so tough on my phones and Lifeproof gives that extra security. This case feels just as secure, while also allowing for a completely clear screen because the screen shield is no longer. Definitely a fan. The tightness of the volume buttons has already gotten better and it’s only been a week and a half. Highly recommend purchasing when they have a good deal going on! Also, shipped quicker than their expected delivery!

I like this case. I’ve always bought life proof. But now that the iPhones don’t have any sort of front barrier I like it less (not totally their fault). I’ve dropped my phone twice and both times it has completely popped out of the case. Here’s to hoping we can survive...
