Is there anything better than homemade ice cream?!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've grown up making homemade ice cream with my parents - but I've never had one of my own! Until now! :) We've used everything... from the old school hand churn to the electric version. What makes this one so cool? It looks like the nostalgic old school hand churn one, but has the ease of the electric version.
I love that the ice cream maker comes with a recipe book. I started my first batch with the vanilla (using vanilla extract, not vanilla bean shavings). I was surprised that this ended up tasting like store bought ice cream! Even the consistency and texture of the finalized product was exactly like store bought vanilla.
I did have one issue, and I blame it on myself... we couldn't find rock salt and ended up using coarse sea salt. It seemed to take longer with the actual ice cream freezing so I kept it in about twice as long as originally recommended. After it went into the freezer for final solidifying, there were no issues.
Tastes great. Fun for the entire family... especially during this COVID time and staying at home.
Now... I'm off to the grocery to buy the items needed for sorbet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this ice cream maker because I love ice cream. It is real easy to use, just make sure you have at least two bags of ice. The first time I used it the ice cream did not freeze all the way. I later found out the I was using the wrong salt for it. You need rock salt, it helps the freezing process better. You just need simple ingredients to make your ice cream.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family loves being able to make our own ice cream now! It is very easy to put together. There is only 5 pieces and everything just sits into each other no having to use tools for anything. We also only needed 6 ingredients to make the ice cream. It takes about 45 minutes to churn into ice cream, I set it all up went on to do something else and just checked it after 20 minutes to just add more ice.. the ice cream turned out so good.

It took a minute to find the salt needed, but this has been fun during the pandemic to make ice cream at home with the kids. We can pick our own flavors and use real fruit additions. Its so easy too!

I must be getting up in my age, because this is BY FAR the BEST product I’ve been sent to try! I used to make homemade ice cream using snow and one of these when I was a little girl!! It made my whole day then and now!
There’s nothing like being able to make WHATEVER flavor ice cream, gelato, sorbet, or froyo you’d like right at home! No more waiting in long lines at Braums for that sweet treat to beat the heat! Now, we just grab some cones, sprinkles, and whatever other toppings we want, and make it ourselves!
It’s easy to use and set up! It is kind of loud when it runs, but that’s due to friction between the ice, the walls, and the canister. It comes with pretty much all you would need to get started, minus ingredients and rock salt.
We made cookies and cream ice cream for our first go! We used our own recipe, but there are several in the owner’s manual to choose from! Took about 40 minutes till it was soft serve consistency! We put it in the freezer for a bit to get a firmer consistency! It was SO yummy! And cleanup was a breeze! Love that you can store the ice cream in the 4 qt. freezer canister, and that it comes with a lid for freezing!
I would highly recommend this maker of iced treats!
