The best ice cream I've ever had

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am excited about the opportunity to make any type of ice cream that I can think of with my Elite Gourmet 4Qt. Old Fashioned Electric Ice Cream Maker. I've never tried to make ice cream before, but the first time gave me the smoothest mixed berry ice cream that my family has had. The ice, and rock salt combo makes you feel like you're at grandma's house enjoying the love through her cooking. I love that I can use natural ingredients, and be able to satisfy our sweet teeth!

My kids love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tried out a few out of the many ice cream recipes which I found included in the instructions handbook. The first time I used this ice cream maker I was able to make some of the best tasting home-made vanilla ice cream I've had to date. I brought this with me to a family get together at my in-laws and it was a huge party favorite. It's easy to use, just prepare the ingredients for the ice cream, add the ice and rock salt, plug in and let the machine do the rest. Every once in awhile I would need to add a little more ice and rock salt. I also was really impressed by how easy clean up was. This is the first ice cream maker I have used and I'd recommend it. I plan on using this for family barbecues this summer and my kids are always asking for more!

A homemade ice DREAM!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always wanted to make homemade ice cream but thought it would be too difficult to do then I saw this product and had to try it. I took it out of the box in separate parts. There is a outer metal bucket, plastic liner, blending spatula, freezing canister and the motor. This is easily assembled following the directions. Once it was put together I liked the look of it. It has a retro look to it and the light teal color adds a nice touch. There is also a recipe book that has delicious recipes for ice cream, sorbets, frozen yogurts and gelatos. Now after assembly it was time to make ice cream! Starting out I put the metal canister in the freezer for 3 hours while mixing the ingredients in a separate bowl to put in the fridge for 45 minutes. Once the canister was done I simply took the mixed ingredients and put them in the canister which I then put in the tub and surrounded it with ice. I then put the mixing spatula in and then put the motor on top. I plugged it in and it started mixing. It's that simple! 45 minutes later it was done. This was so easy to operate and you're not having to put any real effort into it. You just need time as majority of it is simply waiting. The clean up was quick and easy. Me and the kids had a great night enjoying our cookie dough ice cream. I'm making frozen yogurt next!

When I was younger one of my favorite memories with my family was making homemade ice cream, now that I have my own child I wanted to share that joy. This ice cream maker was very simple to set up and use. Just freeze the canister for a few hours before making, get some ice and rock salt, find a good recipe and you're ready to go! Our ice cream turned out delicious! You can easily freeze any leftovers for later consumption!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ever since I was a kid homemade ice cream has been a big thing in my family. I finally got my own ice cream maker and get to share that experience my children. Unfortunately the lid of the metal canister came broken.. I was so anxious I just taped it up and it still works GREAT! This ice cream maker is really quiet. I love that this can be used indoors. It is pretty quick also if you think ahead that you want to make the ice cream and you freeze the metal canister for about 4 hours prior to making. This was a great experience for the whole family. We made the ice cream mixture together and then it was so fun for the kids to watch the ice cream church! I definitely recommend this ice cream maker to anyone and everyone! It works GREAT!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since quarantine we've spent a lot of time at home and this is something my children and I enjoyed very much. Everyone pitched in and after an hour you have some good ice cream! Definitely a hit in this household! And i like the fact I know its fresh. Really wasn't expecting it to be the greatest, but I was wrong. I wish I would've had one sooner.

Nice for a family time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great way to bring your family and friends together to share and make great times together. This was very nice using and making our own ice cream together at home. It was very easy and convenient to use and make. I love that you can take it out of the storage and freeze it or take it out and divide it into bowls and put in the freezer and just take it out when you want a sweet snack. Our family loves this and we will be making more ice creams together and trying out new recipes.
