Eh, for the price?

I’ve had this fridge for almost 10 months. Noticed when refilling there was ice building up. After reading reviews and stories, I’ve come to realize this is a common issue. Current defrosting (unplug it for 24hrs).
I noticed while reading through these that there’s also a common temperature inconsistency. The top shelf is nice and cold (the fans blow on your cans), but the rest is warmer. Do not load this fridge complete full. There has to be room for these undersized (small) fans to blow to circulate air.
Not sure if the icing issue is going to continue. I hope not.

Great little frig! We absolutely love it!!! Perfect fit for under counter applications. Being able to move the shelves up and down and remove some if needed has made it great for accommodating bottles as well as cans too. We can also store up to 6 bottles of wine on the bottom. Having the ability to also change the temperature on the unit has given us the opportunity to use it as a mini frig for extra space for gatherings too! The flexibility of the unit has been great. Keeps drinks super cold and New Air's customer service has been wonderful to work with!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this refrigerator about one year ago. It is attractive and looks good in it's built in space and serves its purpose but it has some major flaws: 1. The Refrigerator door does not close securely. If you push it closed it will pop open. The magnet that is holding it closed is not strong enough or large enough. This has happened to me several times and I have had some ice buildup that melted and defrosted onto my floor and the contents won't stay cold because the door is open. I now make sure I close it firmly and I check it as I go by sometimes. 2. The light inside the refrigerator is purely for decorative purposes. It is blue and does not really let you see inside the refrigerator. It should have a light like most refrigerators that comes on when you open the refrigerator door. 3. The lock on the refrigerator only holds at the position the lock is in. If you pull on it the refrigerator will slightly open above and below the lock. Not meant to be really secure, Just difficult to get open. 4. When completely full the refrigerator's temperature will not stay at the lowest temperature (which is 37 degrees) . It will be about 4-5 degrees warmer. Only the top shelves will be cold.

Great unit for a built-in use under cabinets since it is outward venting. The fridge can lock which is great if you have little kids and the shelves are adjustable which is helpful with taller cans/bottles. The fridge is pretty quiet when cooling and the door can be adjusted to open on either side. A definite upgrade from your dingy, old college beer fridge, that's for sure!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very solid product, worthy of your attention. Stylish, sleek, quiet, and dependable. A great addition to our game room bar, installed under the counter. Temperature fluctuates a bit (34-43) with no apparent rhyme or reason but I would definitely buy it again. A note concerning shipping: external packaging was top notch. However, internal metal shelving was not secure so refrigerator walls were scratched quite a bit. Too much trouble to return the 100+ pound product so because the scratches were not visible from the outside, I kept it.

My beverage refrigerator was delivered about a month ago. It was delivered damaged and Liz for Newair was great. She was very knowledgeable and responded to my questions, concerns and how the return process would work. We are very happy with our fridge. I love the pullout shelves. This option makes it so much easier to access items in the back. The light is a great option for when we have guests over, so they can see the contents of the fridge. Finally, the temperature control is a nice touch. We are able to adjust the temperature as needed. I would highly recommend this product. I didn't give it 5 stars only because it came damaged not due to Shipping.
