Good solid product for a reasonable price

Very solid product, worthy of your attention. Stylish, sleek, quiet, and dependable. A great addition to our game room bar, installed under the counter. Temperature fluctuates a bit (34-43) with no apparent rhyme or reason but I would definitely buy it again. A note concerning shipping: external packaging was top notch. However, internal metal shelving was not secure so refrigerator walls were scratched quite a bit. Too much trouble to return the 100+ pound product so because the scratches were not visible from the outside, I kept it.
Pros: Attractive, Energy Efficient, Quiet
Cons: Inaccurate Temperature, Packaging

Perfect for Entertainers and Small Businesses!

I have the smaller, 96 can cooler, but I have to say that I really want this one! Though the smaller one is great, this one is perfect for several reasons. It can be mounted under your counter, or it can stand alone. The shelves are adjustable and it has a sleek design. If you entertain a lot, then this is also great to quickly cool your guest's beverages without having to quickly refill. Its also great if you have a large family. Keep your beverages in this cooler and free up space in the fridge for food. If you have a small business, its the perfect size to keep waters and soft drinks for employees or clients. Definitely worth the investment!

Perfect size

Let’s start off by saying great size beverage fridge. Nice construction but one bad flaw. The fridge temp is not consistent. I purchased this fridge loaded it up and only the top back half was cold. I placed a thermometer on all 3 shelves and the top shelf read about 42 and the bottom read 52 the fridge said 36. I replaced the temp sensor like you said and no change. So I returned to Best Buy where I purchased it and had another one sent to me. The fridge now read 36 on top and 46/48 on bottom. I believe the fans are not adequate and the temp sensor is in a bad location so it is not reading fridges true temp. No one wants to drink warm beer.....

We Love our NewAir 177 Can Beverage Fridge

We just recieved our fridge last week and are in love. The unit arrived with no damage, though the boxing was so big e couldnt get it through our front door. So we unpackaged it and then carried it in.
Assembly was easy, (and I love how the Fridge came with the parts to install the door to open in either direction.) We adjusted the shelves a bit so we could store bottles and cans of soda as well as bottles of water.
I like how quite the fridge is. You can't tell it is there unless you look in the corner where we have it.
I also loved the digital thermomiter that was easy to set so our drinks are kept at that perfect temperature.

Not cold enough

I bought this fridge for my gameroom about 18 months ago. Not that it has stopped working, it has worked consistently poor from day 1. I needed it mainly to do one thing, make drinks cold. Temp setting to the lowest it goes (36 degrees) and still I cannot get the drinks that cold, even after door has been shut for 3 days straight. I took temp in 4 different shelves in the fridge and temp is from 46 to 49 degrees. Yes, the fridge looks nice, yes the door was easily reversed, yes it runs very quiet, yes it holds a great deal of cans and bottles. But the main purpose is to make the beverages cold. NO, it does not get the beverages cold. I find that I have to start with a frozen mug to have beer that is cold enough to drink with it comes from this fridge.

Works perfectly in my basement bar, needed a built in which is very different than free standing as it has ventilation in the front and this fit the bill

Great little under counter unit

Nice little unit that I have installed underneath a counter in a basement bar area. It's paired with a matching wine fridge and the pair looks great. The unit is quite and was easy to install. I had to flip the door hinge from one side to the other, which was not a big deal to do. The only down side that I've had is when my 6 year old gets a juice box from it, he tends to slam the door which bounces back open. In one instance, nobody noticed and the door was open all night and the temp rose to over 50 from the 36 or so it was set at. Maybe a bit strong magnet on the door would have prevented it or a little bit more attention from child and parent but overall it was a great unit. Ashley in Customer Care was easy to work with and the unit shipped faster than anticipated. Overall very happy with the unit and the transaction.
