I own and have owned many brands of soundbars over the years and have a well rounded knowledge of surround sound systems from receivers to amplifiers and custom designed systems. This Klipsch Cinema 800 5.1 Atmos system exceeded my expectations in every way, so much so I quickly realized any reviews that were not 5 star were from people who did not setup and tune their system correctly because it just doesn't get better than this! I love bass and it delivers more than enough for any movie or music you throw at it. Highs are crisp and mids/center channel voices are sharp clean and 3D like. Atmos works amazing maybe because my ceilings are 23 feet tall and my soundbar is at ear level. Maybe people place their bar too low, as watching the new Top Gun it sounded like they were flying over my head. Could not be happier with this purchase.
I had a 5 year old Klipsch soundbar that sounded a lot warmer and fuller than this one. This one sounds really digital, thin and harsh to my ears. Newer doesn't always mean better and now I regret my purchase. Going back to my old Klipsch soundbar.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sounded great when it worked, firmware issues are the reason for two stars, customer service does a good job on helping.
Disconnecting from Bluetooth constantly. Wont connet to the tv with an hdmi. When its working it sounds great....when its working.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good audio. Buggy programming

Audio quality is good. Sub is sufficient. 2 major drawbacks -Hardwired sub to the bar pops when power is turned on or off. Must run sub Bluetooth to avoid the pop. -Programming is not their strong suit, the app and the bar settings fight each other. Settings done with the remote on the bar don't always show up on the app. The power cycle option in the app does nothing. Turned it on to no sound a couple of times and I've had to physically unplug from the wall to get it to reset. I've been on the fence about returning it since I got it a few weeks ago. It's a hassle. I do not recommend buying this sound bar.
