Great Soundbar, when it works

I bought this system 6 months ago, and about every week to every other week, the speaker just stops putting out sound. The speaker is hooked up through HDMI Arc to a 65” Samsung TV. I have to unplug the system and let it sit overnight before plugging it back in to get it to work again. Klipsch customer support has been rather un-helpfull. At this price pount I think the system should be able to auto-update the firm-ware/soft-ware to opperate properly. The Klipsch App has also been more or less useless.

I have purchased Klipsch cinema 800 with a high expectation after having very good real world experience with cinema 600 and bar48 .
I will list down the main problem with cinema 800 sound ( as i have received some firmware updates to fix wifi issues and HDMI issues):
It seems the bar and sub woofer are excellent when u see the spec independently. However, when combined they dont produce enjoyable sound. The main reason is voice freq /center channel sound appears very hallow. you will notice that the movie characters speak far away from your TV!!! ( Note that using a dialogue mode will not help here )
After doing lot of research i found that it is the dynamic range that was doing the trick!
Interstingly, there is no way to directly change that, however there is a tweak.
Cinema 800 bar comes with night modes and i select the night1( which is supposed to reduce sub by 50% and dynamic range of sound bar) mode.
Now comes the bar alive and you will start hearing all the missing voice and other frequencies clearly.
To compensate reduced "sub" volume i use sub level on remote to bump up!
This clearly tells there is some issue with the way dynamic range handling by bar.
I hope klipsch engineering would fix the issue.
Finally, the app is useless. No EQ, No Remote operations with app.
It is still an unfinished product with an excellent hardware.

I have had two of these now and the longest one has lasted is 1 week. I just had this last one installed by my dealer last Wednesday and tonight (Saturday) the sound quit. Just like the last one. I hadn't even had time to register the product. I love Klipsch and have had Heresy's and even donated to the museum in Hope, Ar. But this is not ready for prime time.

Please read reviews for other sound bars. Purchased cinema in 11/2020. In January 2022 Bluetooth stopped working. And the wireless subwoofer is not connecting any more. Also bought the surround sound speakers that don't connect anymore. Many other folks are having issues with no solution per Reddit and other sites. Buy a different brand and save yourself the headache.

Cinema 800 freezes up with LS stuck on display

Sounds good but have an issue with this second sound bar. It did some goofy things then the display start showing with LS and stuck in that mode. Would not responded to remote or buttons. Powered off by Unplugging power for 1 minutes then powered on and the LS came back on the display and everything locked up again after 10 seconds. I unplugged it for about 5 min and powered on and this time it stared working. I think this has happened to me about 2 times for the 30 days I had it. All firmware is up to date. I might bring this one back and get a refund.

Constant connectivity issues. Bluetooth drops after every song change. Source sense doesn't work well. Included surround speakers and subwoofer decide not to work half the time. Wired an extra sub and the soundbar refuses to send power to it a lot of the time. Wouldn't recommend this if they were giving it away.

Optical connection was intermittent from the start. Now after only a few weeks of owning the sound bar it will only power the center speaker on PARTY mode. Bought this to replace my Cinema 600 after that wouldn’t power on after 2 years of ownership. Disappointing by Klipsch.

What a disaster. I am on my third soundbar/sub First one worked for two weeks then all of a sudden it stopped. Had to update the firmware and it did not take so they sent me another unit. As soon as I opened it, it did not work either and required a firmware update again. We did it together on the phone with support and it fried the unit. Now I just received my third unit. I do not plan on opening it and hoping to recoup some money on a resale so I can go and buy another brand.
