I am reviewing Cinema 800 with its current value not 999.
At 999 it is definitely too expensive reasons and comparisons I will mention below
Pros -
1. Bass module has good extension
2. Can be connected via Chromecast or Apple airplay for streaming music.
3. Sound is good only after burn in
4. Setup and video pass thru works as designed
5. App is good

Cons -
1. Too many dropouts with sub (thankfully not within a session ). You have to restart the soundbar to establish the connection again and it happens too often for it to be a irritating.
2. In a busy scene dialog intelligibility even turning dialog to 1 is low . You really have to crank up the volume .
3. Chromecast dropouts frequently
4. I had Samsung soundbar which was much louder at volumes like 25 then cinema 800 which provides similar output at 50+
5. Burn in take weeks .

How it compares with others , likes of JBL, Samsung , Sonos and Bose … I would say it compares better with JBL and given the current price kills JBL to my ears but others beat cinema 800 in intelligibility but this wins points for that 10” bass module .
This setup is only good for medium room , not for large or open space rooms.
If you decide to buy this soundbar do buy it with its surround that works well and enhances the experience.

I bought the Cinema Sound Bar after a decade of enjoying the Reference Home theater sound system. This system does not disappoint. Perfect bass and the sound is terrific. Klipsch has won me for life!

Amazing sound. Great watching movies or listening to music. My only issue is connectivity issues, after a week it wouldn't play any sound and I factory reset it and now I can't get into Bluetooth pairing.

i PURCHASED A CINEMA 800 FOR MASTER BEDROOM AND THE SOUND IS AWESOME.WE ALSO ENJOY THE CINEMA 1200 IN THE FAMILY ROOM AS WELL. THE DOLBY ATMOS FEATURE IS NICE TO HAVE ON BOTH SYSTEMS.

The sound bar and the rear speakers are great but the 10" subwoofer is very weak compared to my 8" Klipsch sub in my game room so I think it is defective.

The sound bar is huge! The overall set up was extremely easy. Also using the app was a breeze. My regular tv remote controls both the tv and the sound bar which is nice. My tv recognized the sound bar system and merged together as one automatically with the tv remote. The only thing I do not like about the sound bar is that it shows switch input it is on along with the volume level. Since the app shows this, I don’t feel a need for the large display on the sound bar is necessary and is a distraction. The bass module is amazing and pumps out some amazing sound.

Bought this with rear speakers but volume is really low ... need to take it above 70 + to get the advertised affects
