I have always been a fan of Kilpsch until recently. This sound bar was a terrible! Connection issues, volume stuck on one setting, rarely worked, at times no sound, I spent much time with customer Support attempting to resolve the issues. Performed firmware updates. Nothing seemed to resolve the issues. Last call to your CS dept resulted in refund and field destroy product. Very disappointed.
I bought this for mine and my wife's bedroom to replace a vizio soundbar that seemed to have recurring connection issues to our vizio TV, who would have thought 2 items from the same brand could be so incompatible. So far its running perfectly with rich sound that fills the room like I'd hoped it would. Plus as an esthetic bonus, the wood grain side panels perfectly match the grain on my wife's ikea chest of drawers above which the TV and soundbar are mounted to the wall.
Great performance when paired with the rear surrounds, the room fills with atmos sound that is fantastic. I also have the Cinema 600 and the 800 is a step above when used with the rear speakers.
I bought this soundbox a few weeks ago and still cannot get it to work through my TV, I have tried several trouble shooting remedies, but none seems to work. I have called CSR # at Klipsch but cannot get anyone on the phone. I am highly disappointed with the soundbar not working as it should. I love the sound since I can play the SB through my computer and via Bluetooth.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Please note, If you wish to playback Dolby Atmos content directly from your TV to the sound bar, please note that your TV MUST support eARC/HDMI 2.1. You may need to make some setting adjustments within your TV. If you have an eARC Capable TV, set HDMI e-ARC Mode to Auto or On. Set Digital Output Format to Pass-Through (on some TVs and projectors, this is named Bitstream). Set Dolby Atmos to Enabled. Make sure you use an HDMI 2.0a or higher cable. The cable included with your soundbar meets these standards, so we strongly recommend you use this cable.
Have always been a fan of Klepsch products. Had a system for eight years and the subwoofer stopped working. I bought the Cinema 800 series and absolutely love it.
I really appreciate the way Klipsh tunes their speakers. I've owned a Klipsh The Three tabletop speaker for a few years now, and despite its small size, it can fill a room beautifully with sound. The tuning is not neutral, but focused on clarity of sound even at higher levels of volume. I especially appreciate this feature when listening to the spoken word like podcasts. The authenticity of the sound of the human voice is outstanding.
Dialogue clarity is a priority for me when watching TV. This is why I decided to buy the Cinema 800. And I was not disappointed. The bass balance adjustment with mid and high frequencies is pleasing to my ear. The large subwoofer allows the room to be filled with powerful sound effects and bass lines of music, but the dialogue remains very clear and does not blur.
The biggest weakness of the soundbar is the lack of support for audio formats. The system only supports Dolby and PCM formats and completely lacks support for DTS systems. If you own a collection of Blurays with DTS-HD Master Audio tracks, you're really screwed.
I appreciate the AirPlay 2 support as well as the Phone App that allows detailed control of the device.
