A little disappointed.

I bought this as what I thought would be an upgrade to my Klipsch R-10B soundbar. It had less power, fewer drivers, stereo only. But the sound from the cinema 800 is hollow in comparison. No punch, the ambient sound frequently drowns out the dialogue. The dialogue modes sound fake. It sounds like tiny drivers which are in fact something like 25% smaller than my old soundbar. At high volumes it sounds great, but in everyday listening I’ve been kept wanting. Wish I hadn’t sold my old set up.

received soundbar bout 2 wks from order day. i will be comtacting Klipsch on this total fail. Major Blizzard week of item being shipped box looked good free of damage from transit. I installed in the morning easy to hookup. Problem has been 1 thing after the next. a) subwoofer power is almost non existant until volume is at max. Soundbar is amazing clear an loud. Subwoofer power is at plus 6 max level. No good.
b) mode of sound music movie party etc. every single preset is muffled an distored horribly cannot get any of these to sound audible period. Every once in a while on party setting it will break into some sub power an sound to stop randomly back to muffle noise.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great sound, really fills the room with a full sound…the bass is amazing!
The subwoofer doesn’t always connect when turning tv and sound at on. This is a rare occurrence and very easy to reconnect, (just pat for the course with a wireless subwoofer. It does allow an option to plug directly into the sound bar if you’d like)
I haven’t added the full surround speakers yet but will soon, I’m very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend adding this for a home theater

Woofer Issue

Only had my unit for about a year. I noticed this popping sound that would come from the sound bar when turning it off but that'll only happened every now an again. NOW the woofer...it's not working at ALL! I thought it wasn't connected so I tried using the "PAIR" button on the back nothing worked. Then I figured the POWER CORD! I switched the cord from the sound bar and woofer. The WOOFER DIDN'T WORK but the sound bar did! So it's not the cord or pairing...ONLY 1 YEAR? And it's done very disappointing..was happy until that happened..

Worked great for just over a year. Speakers started cutting in and out, led display on sound bar stopped working. Klipsch support suggested firmware update then a factory reset.... tried a firmware update it worked for 2 hours then center channel started scretching. So i did a factory reset. Nothing works at all. Tried another firmware update. No center channel, no bass cannon and no surround. Very disappointed. I actually just started upgrading my 7.1 speakers in my entertainment room with klipsch.... im seriously rethinking not purchasing any more klipsch products of they fail this fast.
