So disappointed

The fridge had reviews I wished I had listened to. It is so loud and whines so badly that at times I think there’s a child whining outside our door! And other times it hums while it’s whining! We chose it only because it matched our other appliances, but also because GE Profile is supposed to be great! I would not purchase this again. High price and low quality!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Product has not worked since installation. Have had a technician by for repairs. Waiting on parts and a return service appointment.

Pretty Good, Almost Great

This frig does exactly what I need. Space for cans and bottled drinks, plus wine. The reversable shelves are great, but I wish they pulled out for better access. The lighting is nice, but if the top shelf is full, the light doesn't reach the bottom shelf. I keep the top shelf items back from the front by about 3" which solves that problem. The temperature is great - keeps things cold and is consistent from top to bottom. The door alarm is helpful. Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase.

Absolute junk. Won't cool anything. I am on my third compressor and second control board and GE still will not replace it. I scheduled yet another repair appointment since the company steadfastly refuses to admit I have a lemon and just replace it.

I definitely would not recommend this fridge. It’s is extremely noisy - much noisier than the two other full-sized refrigerators I have in my house, and it never stops running! There is always a lot of condensation running down the inside back wall of the unit, and we have just found a good 3 inch size gap where the gasket does not seal properly. I checked on the GE parts website for a replacement gasket and they offer NO replacement parts for this fridge. Do not buy something you cannot get new parts for! I’ve tried raising the temperature of the fridge to 42 degrees but it continues to run non-stop. I’ve had this unit for 2 years and I haven’t had a moment of peace since then. For reference, I live in the northeast so my home is not over hot or humid.

It can be normal to notice small amounts of condensation. However, excessive amounts can be caused from the gasket not sealing properly.
The sounds you are noticing can be from normal operation, as the unit is trying to reach the set temperature, but due to the gap in the seal, it is trying to consistently compensate.

Wrong door and very loud

Delivered by our builder with the wrong swing on doors. We informed the appliance retailer and the builder and we have yet to hear back from them for replacement for over a month.

Works well, minor noise issues

The product has worked well from the day installed (~45 days). Keeps beverages cold and set point is only about 1 degree off actual. Minor issue with some (quiet) odd noises which took getting used to. Would have loved slide out shelves.
