These cameras work really well,

These cameras work really well, installation was a breeze. The LED feature and infrared work very well at nights. It can detect the difference between people and other objects with person detection, for the most part. Don't know about battery life since I've just had them for a couple days. been told battery lasts 3-4 weeks based on 4 minutes of usage per day. Area of opportunity for me would definitely be the app, it is slow at times and has a lag, it's is definitely not user friendly and would have been great to provide more instructions on how area detection works (red lines or no colour lines are active modes?), does distance effect sensitivity? wish we can turn the siren mode on and off based on time of day and hour in the schedule since a lot of people move around the house in the day but would not expect movement at night. If these features are a possibility it can really enhance the user experience. biggest plus by far is the 1TB HDD it has included and no monthly fees !

I purchased this wire free

I purchased this wire free system to replace an older model. This system picks up every movement as is. with a high traffic area the 2 cell batteries do not last long. i purchased the 3 cell batteries for 2 cameras and solar panels for the other 2 cameras. Live view works great on a Ipad with some connection problems for live view. Live view works on an android phone but has more connection problems.. All in all it is a good system and picture on live view is very good. Just be ware the Cirrus app needs more work for connection problems.

The camera will not mount
on January 23, 2021

The camera will not mount with the base horizontal. I could not find a way to wall mount it and have it looking left. The antenna hits the bracket. It would if the camera was upside down but no way to change the orientation. I keep resetting the time on the clock and it changes time zones.

Excellent camera system. Nothing to complain about. Wifi range is very strong. Only complaint is that perhaps the app could be updated just a little.

Got this for our cottage,

Got this for our cottage, was very interested in the wire free part. The video is very nice, and setup was a breeze. The one down side is that the antenna on the camera restricts the placement of the camera in relation to the base. You cannot have it pointed all the way to the right(camera's right), due to the antenna making contact with the base. I would suggest having another antenna connector on the opposite side of the camera, then the end user can decide which side to connect the antenna to. OR have the software allow the user to invert/rotate the image and dictate 'which way is up' for the user interface

Overall, I would say it
on December 16, 2020

Overall, I would say it is about average based on what I expected. The app on Andriod (Galaxy S10) can be a little clunky, doesn't always connect, but 95% of the time it does. The desktop app was finicky, until I entered the IP address of the DVR from the router, then it connected ok. The video quality is good....after the first few seconds. It takes a bit to fully resolve on the recordings. The night vision isn't bad, but the field of view on night vision does not capture the entire width of the cameras range - it only gets the middle of the picture, like the old 4:3 aspect ratio. Also, the LED lights are not bright at all, and only stay on for about 5 or 10 seconds, not the entire length of the recording. Lastly, the intercom system works, but took a while to figure it out. The batteries that came with it aren't too impressive, they last me about 15-30 days before needing to be charged, but I have the recordings set up as 30 second bursts instead of the default 10. Overall, if you really can't, or don't want to run cables, this isn't a bad system, but I still wonder if I should switch to a wired system.

I was reluctant to buy
on January 5, 2021

I was reluctant to buy this from the limitations I noticed after reading the Q&A, but got it, set it up, and its not too bad.
Pros:
1) Wide view angle, not needing a string of cameras to cover a good area.
2) Batteries last fairly long even at 30s record intervals multiple times per day, Which makes me not even consider buying the 3-cell batteries until they just die somehow... (see con 3)
3) Continuous records conveniently separate into 125mb file blocks for easier backups of recordings of interest. Its also not too much space written per day. I'd say it would max out at 10gb per day per camera, allowing multiple weeks of recordings with all 4 cameras running on continuous if that was ones thing. but... See con 4.
4) Mobile app isn't hard to use, and is actually fairly responsive considering the nature of its use. Some might say it has too much latency, but that's just the nature of streaming video over the web. Its not going to be 0 latency with the current net technology, unfortunately.
Cons:
1) The Detection area feature isn't working. No matter what I set or how many times I try to save the setting, the cameras record everything that enter their line of sight (contacted support).
2) Came with what I now feel is one defective camera, as it often wont record at all or the recording is corrupted and flikers. (also contacted support)
3) For the price, they should have just shipped these with 3-cell batters, or not even made 2 different battery capacities a thing with these. It only results in waste in a landfill when it comes to upgrading to the 3-cell battery. Because of the aforementioned PRO Unless its to replace a battery that after living a long life no longer holds a charge, its just a waste of customer money and materials. Since this product is fairly new, they should have just went with 1 battery type, 2 cell or 3 cell, instead of having a separate "better" product for sale after purchasing the kit. This way of going about it is just cash grabby and not good for the environment.
4) Also for the price of the system, having a non-replaceable 1TB HDD is rather laughable. Its the same joke one would make about 8GB vram GPU in 2020, its just pitiful. Now, it is possible to attach an USB HDD to the system for extended backup... But 1TB still remains a joke considering the cost of the system. I would also have liked the option to just upgrade it to a larger, and likely maximum, capacity surveillance grade HDD and be done with it, but no dice.
5) I don't see why of all things the motion detection LED cannot be disabled. The cameras have night vision. Because of con #1, they can be a real nuisance to people walking by outside the area I want to monitor. I have to leave my light on outside just to keep it from happening. I know they are part of deterrence, but like the buzzer, that deterrence should be able to be turned off if desired.
6) The position of the antenna attachment prevents the camera from being rotated to certain positions, as the antenna will contact the connection base at the bend. It would have been better if the antenna connection was instead centered instead of offset to the side. As it is, it can only rotate freely to the left, but to the right you need to rotate the camera head which will make the recording angled.
7) The firmware and mobile app have differing abilities. For example; with the firmware (backup mouse and HDMI attachment to TV), you cant set the cameras that are plugged in to continuous recording. The dropdown selection only ever has 10s, 20s, and 30s when the camera is plugged in. meanwhile the mobile app will have the continuous recording option after you plug the camera in. At the same time, the mobile app cant be used to interact with HDD (for formatting and such) or change the positions of the OSD elements. Only the firmware can do that. I haven't checked the web client yet, but if its the same, one really cant ...

I love the flexibility that these cameras give with the rechargeable batteries. Not having a cord makes them so versatile to place anywhere around your home where you have a WiFi connection. I will definitely be recommending this to friends and family.
