Does a great job

FINALLY BOUGHT A DISHWASHER

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been married and living in our home which we bought when we got married almost 18 years now and we never had a dishwasher and my wife and 2 kids went on vacation and I stayed home. We have talked for years about getting a dishwasher and we both really liked the Kitchen Aide products and the features. So with the family gone and I was washing dishes by hand I was like that is it I am tired of washing dishes by hand so I went and bought and installed while they were gone and to surprise them. Best decision and investment I ever made. It is an amazing product and how much time it saves us and gives us more time with kids and clean up after cooking a big meal is now easier. I always dreaded cooking a big meal and because it is easier to clean up now we do not eat out as much either. We have no problems with it and I have never pulled anything out after washing that did not get cleaned all the way and it is amazing how much cleaner our dishes are compared to washing by hand. I think the only one that does not like the dishwasher is the family dog because there is no more having him lick the dishes clean like the joke as clean as soap can clean them. In the joke the dogs name is soap. Also it is very quiet and sometimes I have to feel it to see if it is running. Thank you for a great product and would recommend to anyone. A coworker had a Kitchen Aide and had to finally get another dishwasher and went with another brand and wish they just got another Kitchen Aide they just tried saving money. Thank you for a great product and keep up the good work you do for a great product.

Love this dishwasher!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not the dishwasher I ordered, but after waiting 7 months for the one I thought I wanted, this one came into my appliance store. The salesman said he was sure I would love it and it was even quieter than the one on order. So I took it sight unseen. Wow! It is fabulous! I replaced my 25 year old Kitchenaid with this. I thought my old one was great, but this is even better. You can barely hear it. The door is solid. The handle is great for hanging a dish towel. The print shield really does work well. Yes it is not perfect as you will print, but it is much better than appliances without it. I love the third rack. It isn’t deep, but it is just right for long utensils, small measuring cups, spoon rests, etc. The silverware caddy is different in that each piece has its own slot. I find the silverware comes out cleaner with this forced separation. Actually all my dishes are cleaner. I have not had to rewash a single piece! I have read complaints about how long the wash cycle is. Who cares! You can’t hear it, so to me it doesn’t matter. The dishes are perfectly dry as well, even the bottoms of coffee cups. The only very slightly negative is my cereal bowels want to roll. I find placing them sideways between the tines keeps them in place. Overall, I am very happy with this dishwasher. I hope it lasts like my previous one did.

Worse than nothing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher hasn't worked since day 1. Yes, it's quiet, but that's probably because it's not actually doing anything. The dishes come out wet, but just as dirty as they went in, even after pre-rinsing - it won't even rinse pasta water off a pot lid. Complete waste of money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
