This was an awesome dishwasher for the 1st 6mths. Never an unclean dish, so quiet, racks roll so smoothly, lots of space and an interior light! THEN.... after 6mths of use it quit draining. (Not a drain Problem, but electronic, preventing it from clicking into drain cycle) I have been fighting with Kitchenaid for the last 5 months to get it fixed. There have been 4 unsuccessful service calls, and hours of phone calls and I'm still stuck with an unworking dishwasher. We are finally now at the stage of exchanging for a new one, if and when they ever call me back with a delivery date! I suspect that will take another 6 mths. So far now, it has NOT WORKED longer than it has! What kind of company makes HIGH END appliances that only last 6 mths!!!! Kitchenaid service is pathetic and I don't not recommend any of their products! They are not worth the money! Everyone told me to buy a Bosch, and I guess I should have!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Delightfully Quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced this dishwasher with a previous Kitchen Aid. I like this new one, the new feature where it automatically selects that cycle is great. The only problem I had was the spacing of the lower rack, my rather large dinner plate didn't stack properly anymore.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m impressed for a number of reasons. First, it cleans exceptionally well, no fuss, no rinsing, no problem. Second, it’s whisper quiet, don’t let the decibel rating scare you, I don’t notice it except a little whisper or hum. Finally, the track design is great, especially if you use a lot of silverware like me. Full load? Remove the silverware basket and use the top utensil rack. Loads of room. Love the adjustable middle rack. This design is efficient and holds a lot.
The hidden controls are fantastic and very easy to use. The all Stainless interior means it stays clean and sanitary and nice to look at. It’s got a great grab bar that is meaty and design forward. It adds some function and makes my kitchen sexy to the look at.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this dishwasher, the third rack is very handy for things I used to wash by hand. The heat dry dries most things better than any other dishwasher I ever owned. Worth the extra money.
