Well, not as good as previous KitchenAid Dishwashe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good machine, and KitchenAid dishwashers are quiet. But the KitchenAid dishwasher that we owned before this one had a much better loading capacity in the same size cabinet. The utensil tray on top in the old machine was versatile and held all of the utensils we needed to put in it, whereas this new one forces us to load flatwear, etc. in a very specific way, and it doesn't hold nearly as much. That is countered by the fact that the new machine has a big utensil basket on the bottom rack, but it takes up about 20% of the bottom rack space so we can't get all of the plates and pans in. We end up having to wash some things by hand - a problem we never had before. The old machine had a middle rack for glasses, etc., and it worked very well. The middle rack on the new machine has been designed so virtually nothing fits easily. This machine wastes a lot of space due to poor rack designs so that we often have to run two loads instead of one. KitchenAid should have left the rack designs alone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Super quiet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If loving this dishwasher is wrong, I don’t want to be right! You need to know, I’m a Speech and Language teacher, and some days I’m still doing virtual therapy from home. My kitchen table is my desk, so when I got this dishwasher, I was thinking I’d never run it while I’m online with students like with my old dishwasher. No way! I need to be able to HEAR my students make their sounds. This KitchenAide dishwasher had among the lowest decibel levels of all, so I put it to the test. I ran it while I was online with my students, and it was SO QUIET I could barely tell it was on! Not to mention how efficient and beautiful it is...it makes my other appliances jealous!
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've only had it a week ... washed our dishes twice. It cleans great and it's super quiet which 2 things were most important to us. I like that it fits our big tumblers without taking 2 spaces and has a top tray for over size things like tongs, spatulas, big and spoons. It holds more. It all is sturdier than our old dishwasher. And what's great is it doesn't show handprints all around the handles so it always looks clean. I do recommend but I can't say anything about breakdowns since I haven't had it long enough. It's pricey but money isn't missed since it comes and goes. This dishwasher is great and has the features we wanted.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not the same as my five-year-old Kitchenaid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine was very difficult to install. The depth measurement posted for this machine are incorrect with the insulation. A drawer barely clears the handle. Had we know the accurate depth, we would not have purchased this machine.
Our older one at a different home, dries the dishes so there is no water left in crevices. This new one leaves water in the crevices. Very disappointing.
