One month for first warranty claim

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it one month ago. It quit working after 28 days. Pump motor failed and we are waiting for a warranty replacement part to be installed.

Bad product, stay away

I am writing this review out of extreme frustration with my KitchenAid Dishwasher (Model: KDTE204KPS2). For months, I've been trapped in a cycle of recurring breakdowns for the exact same problem. Service visits provide only temporary fixes, with the issue inevitably resurfacing shortly after.
Being without a functioning dishwasher for days on end while awaiting service is incredibly disruptive and stressful. A product from a brand like KitchenAid should not require such frequent, ineffective repairs, especially for a persistent fault.
After multiple attempts to fix the identical problem, it's clear these repairs are not a long-term solution. I've completely lost confidence in this appliance's reliability. Avoid this model if you value a working dishwasher.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don't buy, no documentation available to the owner

The biggest surprise to me is, unlike other manufacturer, I can't find any documentation for this dishwasher, no part diagram, no troubleshooting document, no diagnostic instructions in public domain. They make them only available to the technician, Basically, they deny homeowner to repair this by themselves. I would give KitchenAid a Zero star if I can

Not as Expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I set my expectations too high for this one. The flatware holder has a sorter that has various sizes randomly in the top of the basket. There is not a timer to count down the cycle. The outside is nice but the insulation looks crammed into the corners. I hopeful it will last a few years.

Quietest dishwasher.....ever! Need to check to make sure it's running! Really like the top third rack for utensils, etc. Great idea.
