[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great machine at a good price. Third rack on the top is an incredible plus--finally a place to put all the kitchen gadgets and large spoons, spatulas, etc. Noise level is advertised at 39 dB and there is no doubt that it achieves that level of quietness--truly, you have to look at the cycle indicator to know it is running.
Tons of room, very quite, and it gets dishes clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So it should go with out saying, but this dishwasher gets dishes clean. I wish that was not something that needed to be said, but unfortunately I have purchased too many dishwashers that required extra effort prior to loading. This dishwasher has found hidden extra space. I am not sure how they provided a third tier shelf for flatware and such, and still provided extra height for the bottom shelf, but they found it, and implemented it, and for our family of 6, it is a real blessing. This dishwasher is very quiet. We have a large open concept, kitchen, breakfast nook, living area, that opens to a large foyer, and then the formal dining is accessible from a wide butlers pantry, as well as that large foyer. So nearly every non sleeping space down stairs is open or easily accessible to the kitchen. We have hard tile type wood look floors. This is a recipe a sound disaster. Personally I can not hear this dishwasher running, when standing next to it, let alone, while in another part of the room. I do not even hear the water sloshing. They have sound-proofed this machine very well. I do not know how much I paid for this dishwasher, as it was a component in a gourmet kitchen package, for our new home. What ever the cost was, it was worth it. This is a must have dishwasher, with anything open concept. A noisy dishwasher, would destroy any function, in half the home. With a quiet dishwasher, we are able to load it up and start it whenever we want.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] bought this about 3 weeks ago and so happy with it. it gets the dishes clean every time. and is so quiet in our open concept kitchen/dining/living room area we no longer hear our dishwasher when we are sitting and watching tv.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the only complaint I have is the placement of the silverware rack...it is on the side requiring the user to open the door all the way to be able to place a fork or single item in the silverware tray....it should be in the front.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So we had a previous kitchen aid dishwasher and it lasted nine and a half years which was ok in terms of length of service especially here in Phoenix AZ the water here is very hard. Water heaters only last five years on average. So our old one started making noise and knowing what I know about the life span of appliances in this hard water environment rather than attempt to fix it I looked for a new one. We wanted black, controls on top rather than front controls as we always seemed to numb the front controls and the dishwasher would start so top controls were mandatory. Also had to have a handle rather than some built into the face opening that you pull on. Needed to have stainless steel tub as they get hotter and dry better and number one requirement had to be quiet. This is rated at 39db. Standing next to it when it’s running you can just barely hear it. Sitting eight feet away at the breakfast table it is silent. Due to the pandemic I didn’t want an installer in the house so I put it in myself. The directions were ok but could be a little bit clearer. Anyhow installed, running, very quiet, pull handle feels very sturdy and the top rack slides are improved leading to a much stronger feeling about the durability of the top rack. Third rack for utensils is very useful, old washer didn’t have that feature. Price was competitive with other machines that I shopped for online. My son just replaced his five year old Bosch with another Bosch and the pamphlet on his machine said 44db, quietest machine made. That’s a big lie from Bosch. We are very satisfied with this machine and would recommend it to anyone.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We bought this model in September and it does a great job of cleaning. However, there is no indicator about how long the cycles run and the "normal" cycle is really long. This is inconvenient. My older model of Kitchenaid from 2002 was awesome in every respect and had a express cycle that showed the minutes of the cycle so you could see when the cycle was ending. I miss that feature so much.
