Interesting features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the third rack for utensils, and the removable utensil caddy from bottom rack. I am super impressed with the quietness while in operation. I like that the open door stays at any level. It cleans well with the use of pods.

Exceeded Expectations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced the dishwasher that was in my house which was bought 4 yers. ago. I can't believe how quiet the new washer is. I also love the upper rack. My dishes are clean and spot free even though I turn off the final heat drying feature. Easy to use and love the adjustable shelf for larger items below. Only thing I didn't like was the top on the utensil basket and I took it off. I've used it going on for 5 months now.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unit is very quiet! Third level is utensil rack is ok but is redundant considering there is also a utensil side rack. I am a family of 2 (me and my wife) so perhaps the third rack serves better for a large family. Overall, good unit.

Tiny tiny drawback is activating buttons while opening and closing due to placement of panel. Minor issue.

Very quiet but doesn't clean dishes well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second KitchenAid dishwasher. I bought it because I was so happy with the KitchenAid dishwasher I've had since 2006. This dishwasher is even quieter. Unfortunately, that's the limit of improvements. The new one takes 2 hours to run, instead of one hour. The new one does not do a good job of cleaning the dishes. Despite thorough rinsing before loading, the dishes often come out with food residue on them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Well, not as good as previous KitchenAid Dishwashe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good machine, and KitchenAid dishwashers are quiet. But the KitchenAid dishwasher that we owned before this one had a much better loading capacity in the same size cabinet. The utensil tray on top in the old machine was versatile and held all of the utensils we needed to put in it, whereas this new one forces us to load flatwear, etc. in a very specific way, and it doesn't hold nearly as much. That is countered by the fact that the new machine has a big utensil basket on the bottom rack, but it takes up about 20% of the bottom rack space so we can't get all of the plates and pans in. We end up having to wash some things by hand - a problem we never had before. The old machine had a middle rack for glasses, etc., and it worked very well. The middle rack on the new machine has been designed so virtually nothing fits easily. This machine wastes a lot of space due to poor rack designs so that we often have to run two loads instead of one. KitchenAid should have left the rack designs alone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
