[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have yad the dishwasher a couple of weeks and am very happy with performance and its appearance. What I like most is how quiet it is. I would like a cycle without no heat drying.

High Hopes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dishwasher is VERY quiet - I have to check the light to see if it is running. Very nice. It cleans the dishes well. The only problem I have with it (and it's pretty annoying) is that my plates don't stand straight up in the dishwasher. Yes, in my last dishwasher, they leaned a little bit, but these practically fall on each other, so I worry that they aren't getting as clean as possible. Because of this, I wouldn't recommend it.

Great machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We couldn't be happier with our purchase. This machine does an excellent job of cleaning the dishes and is super quiet when running. The arrangement of the shelves seems perfect. We always seem to load the machine to its capacity. Somehow this machine occupies the same space as our Bosch that it replaced but allows for a larger load of dishes.

So frustrated. The motor is broke 4 months after the dishwasher was installed. Now I have no dishwasher and am forced to purchase a new one, dispose of this one, pay an installer, stay away. No I am not tweeting at you.

was hoping for more powerful wash

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm learning how to use the dishwasher, but I should have chosen something more powerful instead of quiet and efficient. it cleans only slightly better than the old one, and is exactly the same in its drying incapabilities as the old one, even though the old one was old when we bought the house 14 years ago. (does not dry dishes at all). i have to load it carefully to make sure things get clean, and pre-rinse everything. we keep it open all the time and i keep stubbing my toes on the handle. also the installers modified one of the drainage tubes so each day the sink smells awful. i will look for a new and different solution.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't like that the spoons and forks are upright When you unload them you are handling the part that goes in one d mouth Also normal cycle runs for 2 hours!

So disappointed
on October 16, 2023

Man. I am so disappointed in this dishwasher. We had the BEST kitchen aid dishwasher (it was from 2018) (254 model) it was wonderfully silent, large spaces inside for loading, the drawer in the top was FLAT and it was a dream. It finally gave out after 7 years so we wanted to stick with KA because we have been so pleased so we went with this one. The top drawer is shorter in length (the old one was the same length as the bottom drawer and now it’s at least 2 inches shorter) - than our old one, the space holders of the rack where you lay bowls and other items are spaced further apart (so you can’t stack bowls back to as well as I used to or anywhere near the same amount), not to mention you can’t fit as many items like cups because it’s shorter. I feel cheated and so disappointed with KA that this is the way they cheap out on things. I used to fit much more in a load than I can now , hence doubling my workload as a mom of 4 whose main job in life is loading and unloading the dishwasher. The drawer on the very top is shaped all wonky, so impractical with how they made it dip down in the middle and so shallow but too shallow to fit anything worthwhile. The top shelf used to be my favorite feature and now it’s laughable how impractical it is. The worst part was that even though it lists the same decibels as our previous one, it’s much louder. (Our old one you could only hear it when it started up) and this one I had to download a decibel tester on my phone and it got up to 60 at some points. You’re losing us as customers, kitchen aid. We are returning this and going with another brand. I’m so sad as I loved our old dishwasher so much. Stop being cheap about things like drawer size, and taking away separators in both in the bottom and top racks. These are why people used to love your products. Because it went that extra mile to make life a little more convenient with the movable bottom for plate and pan sizes, or the extra little corner pocket that holds just a small amount of silverware. There was nothing “extra” here and in my opinion your run of the mill dishwasher.

Loving it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my dishwasher for almost a month now and so far I'm impressed! I love how quiet it is, and how easily the racks glide. I never thought how much more enjoyable doing dishes would be until I had the third rack!
