Poor quality and dirty dishes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Where do I start. The positives first. The look of the machine is nice, the spacing of the drawers are good.
For the bad. You have to make sure your dishes are completely clean before putting them in as this dishwasher will not clean anything slightly dirty, even with manufacturer recommended pods. The build quality is very very poor, my top drawer already broke after 40 days. The wash fans are very flimsy and fall off if you touch them.

Thank you for sharing your experience with your dishwasher. We're very sorry to hear about the issues you've encountered, including the cleaning performance, build quality, and the broken top rack This is certainly not the quality we strive for. Regarding the cleaning performance, while it's generally recommended to scrape off large food particles before loading, the dishwasher should still be able to handle slightly soiled dishes. We actually have a handy Owner Center that can help troubleshoot your issue, taking you through a step-by-step solution. Visit https://producthelp.kitchenaid.com/Dishwashers and select your Dishwasher style to get started. If you need additional assistance, please reach out to us directly via Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/KitchenAid or Direct Message on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/kitchenaidusa/. When responding please include your contact information, Dishwasher model/serial number, and reference Case # 689394. We look forward to speaking with you. Marie Q

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dishwasher back in January. I am giving it 4 stars but not as happy as I would like to be regarding getting pots clean. I am still trying different features to see what works best.

Great Washer
on April 15, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace a Whirlpool product. The product leaves no standing water on cups/glasses and I love having my silver ware container in the dishwasher instead of on the door! Everything comes out really clean and spot free. The washer is not as quiet as my first kitchen aid that was purchased in the early 2000s, but it's quiet enough for me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Disappointing and smelly
on May 13, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently replaced our 300 series with a 200 series Kitchen-Aid dishwasher (to save money - broke after just 5 years!!!) — I couldn’t decide if I should give it two stars or three… I may be overly generous here with 3 stars, but the machine cleans quite well, the layout is perfect for me, and it’s very quiet. All good. However, I have a bloodhound’s nose and hate when a dishwasher smells— and I find this machine needs cleaning after every time I use it. That is not acceptable, too much work and still it smells. Must be a design flaw. Im fastidious about cleaning the filter but can’t figure it out and good luck trying to reach anybody at Kitchen-Aid. The phone number goes into a phone tree that does not include anything about customer service only orders, and I tried the contact link online That after all the time spent filling in the form evaporated after I click that I am not a robot box. Lots of waste of time no Satisfaction so I’m not happy with Kitchen-Aid. All I know is that my Mila never gave me any trouble and over 15 years in our last house. … but I bought a whole package for newly built kitchen in this house and liked the look, functionality, and price of the Kitchen-Aid. I’m not able to give it high marks. Refrigerator big drawer where I store our meats and cheeses is so broken it’s got duct tape holding it together… grrr. Again,, less than five years old, and I am a careful user! I deeply resent so much shabby manufacturing that drives up in the landfill while enriching corporations with repeat purchases. All I can say is good luck finding a well-made product and reasonable customer service
