Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the dishwasher for 6 days. This is my 3rd Kitchen Aid in the last 23 years. I just did my first load of dirty dishes. I was disappointed with the results. First, the soap dispenser remained shut when the dishes were done. When I opened it, the soap was mostly gone,.but there was some residue in the cup. When I checked the dishes, the tea stained white cups still had the tea stains. This was not true of my previous dishwashers. The plates did appear to be clean. I decided to rewash the dishes and the cups were still stained. Fortunately, the soap dispenser did open on its own.

Our second Kitchenaid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our old Kitchenaid dishwasher died after 11.5 yrs so we decided to get another one since our old one lasted for so long. So far I’m super pleased with this new model. Great features added that I actually USE! Much more loader friendly than the Bosch ones we looked at. I love it so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] had to replace our old one recently . decided on this model because it had a low decimal rating and boy is it quite . you have to actually put your head down close to it tell tell if it's running !!! we love how well it cleans also . and the third rack is also handy . best dishwasher we ever had !!

Short life span and no leak warning

Died after 5 years and needed repair at 4. Had a slow leak and no warning system that the leak was occurring so cost thousands in remediation repair. Was loud and didn’t dry well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Manufacturer defect spoiled my review of this dish

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Manufacturer defect. Dishwasher leaks at seam. Working with warranty right now and when we realized it was a manufacturer defect I requested a whole new Dishwasher as I haven't been able to run it even once without it leaking and was denied. Extremely frustrated that I bought a new Dishwasher and am being forced to get a refurbished one.

Awful and noisy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Extremely noisy and utensils stay wet on every setting. The racks are very difficult to use as no matter how I load the dishes, cups and glasses they fall over which makes the cups and glasses fill up with water.

BEWARE! RUST on front panel within ONE year.

I would not recommend this dishwasher to any of my friends or family. The stainless steel around the front steam vent is beginning to rust after less than one year of ownership. This is not the dishwasher you want to buy. KitchenAid does not make quality products.
