All good so far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our new dishwasher was installed about a month ago. We chose it mainly because it was rated as very quiet and in fact has proven to be very quiet. We also like the top rack for utensils - something we weren't sure about when we first saw it. The utensil rack is more useful for us than the third rack for glasses and small dishes offered in other models. The big question with any appliance is how long it will last without any problems. Much too soon to tell.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Happy wife, happy life!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wife absolutely loves her new dishwasher. She says the third rack is a plus she never realized she needed till now. Because it is great for all types of utensils and lids. The silverware basket with the size slots very handy. The fact you can slide the slots off completely to use as open basket or slide the slots back enough to drop in small items(like cake decorating tips) then sliding back to lock in place for washing. Dishwasher is so quiet, makes you question if it’s running. We are very pleased with our purchase.

BEWARE! RUST on front panel within ONE year.

I would not recommend this dishwasher to any of my friends or family. The stainless steel around the front steam vent is beginning to rust after less than one year of ownership. This is not the dishwasher you want to buy. KitchenAid does not make quality products.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quiet dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s nice and quiet which is a feature we look forward to in a dishwasher. Otherwise, t works as one would expect and our dishes come out very clean. The wash cycles, even the “express cycle” seems rather long but I guess that’s how they are all made. I’d buy it again but hope to not have to.

QUIET

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The machine cleans well, very quiet, easy to use and racks 1 and 2 are excellent for loading. Only downside for me is the third rack. I love the third rack (had one before this one) Monogram GE machine and cutlery was easier to load and took more but I will give rack more time. Dishes wash well.

Glassware tray is an issue.
on January 7, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this dishwasher to replace my Kitchenaid purchased in 2014 which I loved. The new unit is quiet. My biggest issue is that the glassware tray has 3" spokes to house the glassware which is inadequate. It accommodates juice glasses. Unfortunately, most of my glassware is much taller and they constantly fall over when opening the glassware tray. There is no way that I can use this tray for wine glasses and take advantage of the tray adjustment feature. I would not have even brought this up but received several emails requesting my review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We traded out an old Kitchen Aid for a new one and I use it and love it every day! It's bigger on the inside than the old one and I've started using it for pots and pans, cookie trays, and other things I wouldn't put in the old one. Everything comes much cleaner than hand washing. I love how the cutlery is separated for cleaning and the third tray for utensils.

Fits a ton of dishes, but not as quiet as hoped.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this has been a great replacement for our 10 year old Whirlpool. It looks great with our other appliances, even though they're different brands. The top rack is great for flatware, spatulas, small lids, etc. We can fit so much more into this model compared to the old one. The adjustable middle rack is helpful at times. We don't even really need the utensil basket at the bottom, so I kind of wish there were more tines instead of the spot where the basket sits. I gave it 4 stars mostly because of the noise level. Our old machine was a 52 dBA and this one frankly isn't much quieter, if any. Still, it's not so loud that it's a problem, it's just that when you pay more money for quieter machines, you expect to notice a difference.
