Much worse than prior model

I bought a KDTE254ESS back in 2016. It was phenomenally quiet at 39db. We often opened it accidentally not realizing it was running. The only time you’d hear it during the drain cycle. Then it started leaking from the motor and at the cost to fix it, I decided to buy at new one. This new model looked virtually identical (same specs and look) - only the venting, some buttons on top, and slight changes in the racks appear different. HOWEVER, this one is not nearly as quite as my prior model. We can hear it all the time. It’s almost like it’s a 44db model and not a 39db one. Very disappointed
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
