[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quiet is the word! Wow, what a difference from the machine we replaced. After two months I still find myself listening after starting to make sure it’s on. The shelving is nicely spaced and our large dinner plates have no clearance problems with the washing arm as in the previous washer, and the “secret” top shelf is a nice touch for spatulas, etc. I have not seen any difference in the cleaning ability, but since they were/are both from the same family of brands that is no surprise. However, aesthetically speaking, this is a much better looking machine.

All is good except the wine glass holder.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the dishwasher very much. It’s so quiet!
I can’t figure out how to adjust the wine glass holder. I just do without it. I’ve tried my best, but I can’t get that holder in place. I pushed the red button and now it’s stuck. Frustrating!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used Kitchen Aid appliances before and appreciate the dependability, easy care and upkeep. The dishwasher delivers on clean dishes, never damaged and the heating cycle provides an extra layer of cleanliness and confidence for the next use. Thank you Kitchen Aid for a reliable and easy to use dishwasher!

Came from factory with error code
on May 31, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this dishwasher at the end of February and had it delivered April 11th as we had to do some renovations to fit the fridge we also purchased. Once we installed it there was an error code right away. This is where it got frustrating. Now we had to wait for a repair tech to come out which wasn't until April 22. He came and said the 'sump pump' was broken, he would order a new one & call us once it came in. He also said this model is almost always needing a new sump pump... they are coming that way from the factory. I hadn't heard anything by May 13th so I called the Kitchenaid toll free number to inquire if the part was in yet and no one seemed to know what I was talking about. Third phone call try I got someone who found the tech who came out and sent him an email to f/u with me. The tech came on May 27th with the new part and over a month later I finally have a functioning dishwasher. Long story short, if you buy this model be prepared to hand wash dishes for up to 5 weeks while waiting for parts or you may be lucky and get a functioning one right off the bat.

Just ok.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased about a month ago. The dishwasher replaced a 17 year old whirlpool dishwasher. Have noticed that it doesn't clean as well as our old one. Sometimes the soap dispenser does not open, large dishes prevent the sprayer from turning so we have to slant our dishes. Top rack takes space away from the bottom rack and doesn't clean that well on the top rack. Positives are the appearance, sturdiness and it is very quiet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, I’m happy with the performance. Dishes are clean with no residue left behind. The drying function is slightly lacking. I do have to towel dry dishes, glasses, and silverware.
