Not the Kitchen Aid of my youth.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While it washes clean, I cannot select the normal cycle on this new dishwasher. They are replacing the control boards tomorrow. Plus, my husband who is a professional cabinet maker for 40 years had to build a heat shield to redirect the steam from the side door vent. Who would think this was a good idea to put that there? The internet is full of massive cabinet damage from this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best dishwasher I’ve ever owned

Perfect mid-range dishwasher

Decent Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Machine is indeed very quiet. This machine is replacing a Whirlpool which was a Gold Series. Miss a few features such as the rack tines collapsing and the cutlery rack on the door was handy and more compact. It’s a matter of getting used to something different. This machine was more expensive than the last. The third rack is handy but sometimes I find utensils come out soiled. The controls are very sensitive. Cutlery rack is illy and takes up a lot of room on the bottom rack.

If You Don't Want To Hear Your Dishwasher Buy This

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this dishwasher upon the recommendation of our appliance salesman. We are glad we listened to him! Our previous dishwasher was noisy and never seemed to fully dry the dishes. This unit is the complete oppposite! It is the most quiet dishwasher I have ever heard and all the dishes come out sparkling clean and dry. I couldn't recommend it more.
