If You Don't Want To Hear Your Dishwasher Buy This

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this dishwasher upon the recommendation of our appliance salesman. We are glad we listened to him! Our previous dishwasher was noisy and never seemed to fully dry the dishes. This unit is the complete oppposite! It is the most quiet dishwasher I have ever heard and all the dishes come out sparkling clean and dry. I couldn't recommend it more.

Quality control?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought two of the same model because my kitchen has cabinets designed for two dishwashers. They were installed in mid-January. When run the first time, one of them made periodic grinding noises, but that is the only time it has occurred. We alternately use them and average running each one two times per week. After several loads, both had white plastic sheeting sticking out between the bottom edge of the door and the kickplate. A service rep repaired them but was unable to diagnose the grinding noise.

Not What They Used to Be

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced a similar KitchenAid dishwasher that was 15 years old. It's disappointing to see how this model is a 'dumbed-down' version of the older one. On the middle shelf where one would load glasses, all parts are fixed. No flexibility. No fixtures that secures the glasses in place. No added part where one could add some utensils. The shelf even feels flimsier. For now, the machine is cleaning well and that's what's most important.
