Impressed with this dishwasher!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had several dishwashers in my lifetime (over 65) and this is a very good dishwasher. Our last dishwasher was a Bosch which lasted 17 years and was very good also, but the Kitchen Aid has a lot more room and better spacing - also quieter than any dishwasher I have ever had. I would highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Kitchenaid dishwasher. I had one in a home I sold, and when I moved, the dishwasher was so loud it sounded like a 747 taking off! It was old and started leaking which gave me the opportunity to upgrade to this Kitchenaid. I love the features and the noise level is non-existent. I can hardly tell it's running sometimes! I'm very happy with this model.

Great features and soooo quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this dishwasher about 6 weeks now and love it! The 3rd rack is very convenient. It washes and dries wonderfully! The best feature is how quiet it is ! We have a small home and the kitchen is close to the family room, we can’t even tell it is on!

Design defect makes this model unusable

Do NOT buy this model because this model has a fundamental design defect. However, don't take my words for it, the technician who came over to my house 5 times to fix the same computer logic board issue told me the exact same thing.
I bought the unit back in late March of 2023 and so far, the technician/engineer has came over to my house 5 times to try to fix it. The issue is always the same: wash cycles are not selectable from the touch screen due to a defective logic board. The logic board broke because its placement is right behind the heat vent on top of the door. The technician told me, if you use the heat dry option, you're logic board will degrade over time (in the span of a few weeks) to a point you cannot select one or all of the wash cycles. This same technician has replaced the same logic board 4 times now and after a few weeks of use, it will break and I am not able to select wash cycles. This technician has told me he has served other customers who have had the same issue; so it's not just me.
Again, do not buy this model, it has a design defect. Since I bought this model back in March, I've spent more time trying to fix this dishwasher then actually using it.

Love the dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dishwasher is very quiet and works great. It was a little harder to install than the one I took out but it was not too hard. The mounting brackets were very awkward and the trim that goes around it didn’t cover very well. I give it four out of five stars.

Small leak from the Start

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The very quiet, excellent dishwasher leaked from delivery. We googled reasons for small leak and tried to sort ourselves. Before the third week we called KitchenAid and they stated because we did not phone in first week, they would only repair. They then said we would have to pay to get it to repair shop after repairman said tub was cracked. After many phone calls they agreed to cover cost to get to shop. It has now been two weeks without a dishwasher and still not sorted… sigh
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
