[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am disappointed with my dishwasher. I had a Pyrex baking tray for pork chops, and I scrubbed it before putting it in the dishwasher. After washing, whatever I had not scrubbed was still on the dish. I had to completely scrub it again. Also, grits were still on one of my bowls. I am not pleased
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent. One of the best dishwashers I ever owned. Easy to use dishes and glasses come out spotless
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We selected this dishwasher for our new home. Overall, this is a great product. The machine is so quiet, sometimes we need to put our ear near it to make sure it's running! And yes, everything comes out really clean (I only use half of the recommended detergent amount). No issues yet in running this over the last four weeks. One small item is you need to press hard to lock in the soap dispenser door, but other than this, it's a great machine.
The finish for the dishwasher is more dark silver (like the thumbnail rather than the image of the dishwasher) rather than true black. Annoying because I bought this to match a simplehuman black stainless trashcan and waited a long time because others in the Maytag collection were discontinued after I ordered them. It hasn't been a week so I can't say much about functionality. It is strange that the bottom level basket has sub compartments that are too small for some things, such as an immersion blender head.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I set my expectations too high for this one. The flatware holder has a sorter that has various sizes randomly in the top of the basket. There is not a timer to count down the cycle. The outside is nice but the insulation looks crammed into the corners. I hopeful it will last a few years.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The overall wash results are great - maybe the plastics don't come out dry but that is a minor detail. By far the quietest dishwasher I have ever heard!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Have had this dishwasher for about a month to replace a 17 year old Kenmore. The most important thing for me was that the new dishwasher ran quietly. This kitchenaid did not disappoint as you can only hear it running when it is shifting between cycles. The Kitchenaid washes the dishes very well. I find you do have to use rinse agent or else there is some moisture on walls of dishwasher after dry cycle. The dishwasher holds less dishes than my old dishwasher because of the rack configuration so that’s the reason I would give this dishwasher a four out of five although it’s really an almost a five star. The Kitchenaid has several wash cycles to choose from - as many as much more expensive dishwashers. The white dishwasher matches my white cupboards but the stainless steel handle is really a nice contrast and ties in the appliance to my stainless steel fridge. As many newer dishwashers do, it seems to take a much longer time to complete its cycles than my old dishwasher but n not really a problem. Only had it a short time so hoping it continues to work so well.
