LOVE THIS DW

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have now had this DW for just over a month. I can't remember the last time I loved an appliance more. This DW is solidly built. The stainless steel interior will last and retain its clean look, both on the outside and inside. I had not anticipated loving the silverware tray up at the top, but gosh! It's a really nice feature. The racks are good sized for all my needs. Even the big 7-qt Le Creuset fits in easily on the bottom. It is so quiet I have often wondered if it was actually on - but it is! The dishes all come out sparkling. I use the Normal setting most often. Plasticware tends to not always be dry but that doesn't really bother me. I understand that there are other settings that alleviate that problem. I'm already mourning its loss when I return to the West Coast in 2 years. I guess I'll just have to get another one once I'm there!

Dishes doesn't dry well and runs for a long time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Most of the time dish drying doesn't happen despite we choose heated dry option all the time. For sure it doesn't work at all in quick wash option and it is a hit or miss with normal wash.
Also there is no meaning for quick wash as it runs for more than 2 hours and it doesn't dry the dishes.
Also having exposed heat element in the premium dishwasher? Doesn't look good at all. Plastic lids in the bottom rack may accidentally touch and melt.
Earlier we had Bosch dishwasher and it was never a problem at all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Greatest product ever.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this dishwasher after my old one started leaking. It was an off brand and it came with the house so it was time to be replaced. It was bought at a national retail home goods/hardware store. It came extremely well protected in its box from the factory.
I was able to remove the old and replace the new Kitchenaid dishwasher with ease, by myself. The instructions were easy to follow and understand. I did have to purchase an adapter for the discharge hose, but that was the only hiccup.
My wife and I couldn't believe how quiet this appliance is compared to the old one. We have a log cabin and almost everything is in one room and when the dishwasher was running, you could hardly listen to the television. Now, my wife and have to go over the the new Kitchenaid to hear it to make sure it's still on. AMAZING!
Thanks for making a great product that makes my life better.

Used 6 times and stopped working

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used 6 times and it stopped working. Repair person came to diagnose. Left and now waiting to get another appt for him to install the needed piece to fix. Purchase 11/22 it is now 4/28/23
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
