Easy Use and Good Results

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is convenient and easy to load. It washes the dishes very well and my stemware comes out gleaming. Improvement in the ability to stack dishes that are "deep" (e.g. large dinner plates with a thicker profile than many) would be an asset.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) As quiet as advertised! If only the racks hadn’t changed as much as they did, we would be able to fit more glasses in the middle rack like our last model.

Not What They Used to Be

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We replaced a similar KitchenAid dishwasher that was 15 years old. It's disappointing to see how this model is a 'dumbed-down' version of the older one. On the middle shelf where one would load glasses, all parts are fixed. No flexibility. No fixtures that secures the glasses in place. No added part where one could add some utensils. The shelf even feels flimsier. For now, the machine is cleaning well and that's what's most important.

Quality control?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought two of the same model because my kitchen has cabinets designed for two dishwashers. They were installed in mid-January. When run the first time, one of them made periodic grinding noises, but that is the only time it has occurred. We alternately use them and average running each one two times per week. After several loads, both had white plastic sheeting sticking out between the bottom edge of the door and the kickplate. A service rep repaired them but was unable to diagnose the grinding noise.

Horrible drying performance
on February 21, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Horrible drying performance. Cost me warranty membership fees with no resolution of the problem. Moved into a brand nee home with all brand new kitchen appliances from Kitchen Aid. Specifically I use dishwasher to clean my baby bottles. I tried every single way to get them dried properly but in vain. So, I thought there was a fault and scheduled a service. Service man came and he thought there was a problem with the board and said he had to order. So, I waited a week and then he came back with a new board and said he had fixed the problem, but actually it was not fixed. It is still leaving a lot of water after every single cycle. I am really surprised that there is no separate drying option. If there was so, I would not be that frustrated, I would just run another drying cycle after each cycle. Now I am stuck with this so called brand new machine. I wish I could afford to buy another machine with better drying performance. Or even if there is an exchange option from Kitchen Aid, I would exchange it with another one for better drying performance, I would pay the difference.
