[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So many great features on this dishwasher. I love that the silverware caddy is 1 long piece and the dividers slide off. Love the 3 rack on top! So quiet when it runs!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pleased with how quiet it is and how clean the dishes are when finished. It’s a little low to the ground for our liking, but overall are pleased.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Without a dought probably the quietest dishwasher we've seen. Works great with a stainless steel interior which is hard to find now days. A true Profesional grade high end appliance. And pretty comparable in price to competitors.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good, we’ve had it a couple of months. Very quiet and dries better than most. Love the top utensil drawer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As advertised. Considerably more room than my 15 yo unit. Still back and forth if I should have purchased the upgraded unit with the enhanced utensil rack.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unit has been installed for 2 months now. Ultra quiet and considerable more room inside. Still back and forth if I should have upgraded to the unit which has the upgraded utensil rack.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The KDTE204KPS product failed on the third wash with multiple error codes. One of the front roller wheels in the middle rack has disintegrated. We are waiting for warranty service. This model is significantly de-featured compared to the previous model KDUE70FVSS3 we replaced it with, and it wasn't clear from the KitchenAid site that it was de-featured. Missing are the cup & stemware holder, the culinary caddy, the flexi-fold down tines, the small items mesh pouch, and the sure-hold light item clips. The utensil racks with variable sized holes are less useful and lower capacity than previous utensil racks. Both the lower and middle racks are as plain as the cheapest dishwasher you can buy elsewhere (tines poking straight up. The dishwasher soap dispenser is very cheaply made and looks like it will fail pretty quickly. Two good things remain - the dishwasher was quiet (for the two cycles that worked), and the SS front panel finish is very nice.
We currently have KitchenAid built-in refrigerator/freezer, double convection ovens, microwave oven, and dishwasher. The previous dishwasher model was greatly superior to this model. These are all showing their age, so a re-model is likely soon. We relied on KitchenAid to deliver a quality product with better features, and with this experience there's every reason to believe we will buy elsewhere. We'll spend more to get better that what Kitchen Aid currently offers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
