Cleans Great - Very Quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher cleans great, is easy to use and extremely quiet. My dishes are clean and dry. I highly recommend this dishwasher. My previous dishwasher was a high-end Bosch, and I had problems that could not be resolved.

It leaks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I waited for 6 months to get this dishwasher and the builder finally brought it and installed it and it leaks! Had to wait 3 more weeks for a warranty repairman and he said a new door gasket needed to be ordered and now I have to wait 3 more additional weeks for the warranty repairman to come and install it. I am not happy with my new dishwaher!

love silverware top rack, Middle rack too low

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dishwasher about 1 month ago after seeing it at our appliance store. I was replacing a 6 year old KitchenAid that had stopped working. I liked the idea of the 3 racks but beware as the middle rack is lower than most tops racks. My daughter has an older version of this model and her middle rack is higher. If you have any back issues, you will have to bend down lower to place things into the middle rack. Every time I place something in the middle rack and have my back twinge, I regret buying this model. I have it raised to the highest level of the adjustment but it is still too low. Designers , please rethink this change that you have made. Too late for me. I find that it is not whisper quiet as I can hear it washing from very close up. My other daughter has the same model and hers is very quiet. So, it may be just my machine. When shopping, This dishwasher was at a level above my head at the store so the middle rack was not that noticeable when I was looking to buy. Take measurements of the height of the racks in your current machine and if it is comfortable then measure your next machine to make sure it is the same. I do love the top silverware rack, as it saves from bending down into the silverware basket. It cleans the silverware well and holds a lot. My older kitchenAid had a feature that if you hit the start button twice, it will repeat the last cycle you had. This does not, when hitting the start button twice it will only repeat the ProWash and heated dry. I like using the normal wash and heated dry and so I have to input that cycle in each time.

Just perfect!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this dishwasher after having another KitchenAid that lasted 18 years! I love the three racks, especially the one on top that holds spatulas, knives, and other small items. This is the quietest dishwasher I’ve ever had and my husband even asked me if I was sure it was washing. The only negative thing is that I can not get my big cookie sheet in this new one. Even with the middle rack adjusted to the highest level, the cookie sheet is still too tall for the bottom rack. It’s no big deal. I would still purchase again. Very happy with my purchase!

Nice, quiet unit, but only lasted 3 yrs

I bought this unit to replace a previous Kitchenaid unit that was 15yrs old. It was getting noisy, and just time for replacement. With the good experience of the old unit in mind, I purposely bought another Kitchenaid. This unit started out great. Quite, cleaned well. But now, 3yrs into what should be a 10yr appliance, the pump motor has quit circulating the wash water, and a new pump unit is going to cost 1/4 the price that this unit was new. The engineers win again. Have stuff fail when products are out of warranty.
