[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We moved into a brand new house. The builder had installed the dishwasher the day prior to house closing. We paid extra to the builder to upgrade the kitchen appliances . The Kitchenaid dishwasher is NOT working from day one. Thinking that the builder would replace it, I called him. He said I should call Kitchenaid. The service man that kitchenaid sent is knowledgeable and polite. He has made 3 visits. The control board, the control panel, the vent has been replaced already. There was also a screw missing in the door, which makes me think that someone has worked on the dishwasher before. Initially it was not cleaning the dishes in the normal cycle , other cycles did not work at all and water was left in it at end of cycle. Now it works but is leaking water from the door. So, the door is going to be changed next. The builder has NOT contacted his preferred supplier( the one supplied it at the last minute) to replace the unit in spite of my suggesting he do that. Instead , he told me to call Kitchenaid. Meantime, we have to manually wash the dishes and dinnerware. It’s been 5 week’s already. Also when I had called to register the dishwasher ( and also Kitchenaid Combo oven, Whirlpool cooktop ) the agent was pestering me to buy an extended warranty. He continued pushing me to buy it for 25 minutes. Then when I called the service department about the repair, they told me NONE of the appliances were registered though the previous person took model and serial numbers of each of them. So, your customer is paying for it in terms labor and anguish and he has paid for a NEW unit. Kitchenaid is spending money on parts and labor. I do not even know whether I am receiving refurbished replacement parts. Whereas the builder’s supplier ( whose name had not been revealed to me ) who should bear the responsibility of replacing the dishwasher has not been notified by Kitchenaid or the builder. Why is he sheltered? How long do you expect me to wait patiently.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ordered via a big box store and upon delivery was ready to install DIY. I did not know, however, that I needed a special water connector to connect the supply line to the dishwasher. After that delay, the rest of the installation went smoothly. Seems to be a well built unit and is extremely quiet.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had this for a week or so, and I am very pleased with the look, the performance, and the quiet operation
