So far, so good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Install was a bit of a pain. The instructions did not say that the stainless tub has side mounts instead of top mount. The mounting screws are just barely magnetic so it took me a few tries to get them mounted. The extra sound deadening is not very easy to mount and the drip tray is difficult to hook the sensor back up once installed. Other than that, it’s a very nice looking dishwasher. Very low key and extremely quiet. I barely heard it while I was rinsing out my sink right next to it. I had to turn off the water in the sink to barely hear it’s faint “whoosh”. The only thing you can hear from it is the water being pumped in and out. It’s still very quiet. Have only run one load in it so far since it’s so large and holds so much. I do wish it had a control lock feature like my 12 year old dishwasher had. Overall, very pleased with it.

The sound of water swishing, blades turning and all kind of helped relax me each night after dinner. Do I miss the loud noise or love that I can barely tell I have a dishwasher actually running for the first time in my life?

Love it...but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All of my kitchen appliances are by KitchenAid and now my dishwasher is too. It's beautiful and matches my double ovens and cooktop. It holds a lot more than my old Bosch dishwasher did and it cleans really, really well. But I was surprised that there was no stem holder and all my wine glasses just fall over regardless of where I put them in the dishwasher. I contacted the store where I purchased the dishwasher and found out that I have to purchase the stemware holders separately because that feature is not included in the model I purchased, although they are referenced in my owner's manual. Could not believe that for the price of this dishwasher there are no holders provided for stemware?!? My only complaint!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you need a quite dishwasher, if it is in a busy area with people around, this is it. I have to lean over and listen to see if it is turned on. It cleans great and the third utensil rack is really helpful. We love it.

Quality galore!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced a builder’s grade dishwasher which was noisy and needed 3 costly repairs in 5 years! The new Kitchen Aid is unbelievably quiet, does a fabulous job and is made in the USA! I like the ProWash cycle, don’t rinse the dishes but get sparkling clean dishes & glasses. Fantastic!

Nice and quiet

We have an open concept layout and we barely notice it is running when we are watching the television. We run the dishwasher daily. There is ample room for a family of 4, homeschooling and working from home.
