The Humidor Sweet Spot

No matter how hard I try, a desktop humidor is never enough space. But if you thought a wineador like this was above and beyond what you need for your cigars, this one is just right. Generous space to organize your smokes how you want to; drawer is a nice feature, too. Unexpected perk in a smaller capacity unit like this. Even bigger perk is the hygrometer. But best of all is setting it up and keeping your cigars humidified: in a larger version of this, you'd be tempted to use a CigarOasis or similar. And while you could use the smaller Oasis for this 250-ct, you'd be just as well suited by using Boveda packs. Truly a KISS system. A lot here for the money!

Whether you are a beginner or a cigar aficionado, everyone should be saving money and buying this from the beginning. This thermoelectric humidor has saved me money and maintance time. Easy to set up and to season, great look.and features. Stop using table top wooden overpriced humidor and get this Newair.

Love the Digital Display

I love everything about this humidor! It's compact enough to fit in my office without being in the way, yet it's large enough to hold several hundred cigars. I love that the digital display can easily be seen across the room, yet it's not blindingly bright. And the digital hygrometer! I think newair might be the only company using digital hygrometers! The stainless steel trim presents a very modern look to the unit, but the classic Cedar trays still says vintage humidor. I don't think this humidor is lacking in one single thing.

The Newair 250 count cigar humidor is my number one pic for a humidor. It holds all of the cigars I want and keeps then cool and fresh. I love this humidor. If you don't have one you should look in to getting one.

The jury is still out...

The unit looks and smells great. The temperature control does not work for cold spaces (my uninsulated 'cigar shack' outside gets too cold at night for the heater in this unit to keep up (and I knew this before purchase, but decided to give it a try)... Now, in a room with ambient 68 degrees temperature, when I set the temperature on the unit to 70, it doesn't reach 70 (just 68-69). So, I suspect the accuracy of the temperature setting isn't very accurate. Also, a fan is on all the time- never stops... We'll see if it drives me nuts. Seasoning is currently in process and I expect things to work well once the sticks go in the box.

I love this unit. It is very easy to setup and use. I had no issues getting the proper temperature settings to stay at an optimal setting. It's a great buy for that cigar enthusiast.

So far so good, it seems like a quality unit. I just completed the two week seasoning period. The hygrometer is off 2-3 degrees and there does not appear to be an easy way to adjust it. My recommendation is to add a standalone hygrometer to the unit for monitoring the humidity levels.

I would buy this humidor again

Ive had my unit for almost a year and along with boveda packs it locks in humidity and keeps my cigars fresh. It's the simplest way to maintain temperature and never having to worry about your cigars. Great seal and quiet enough you don't hear it in your room while your sleeping
