Love the Digital Display

I love everything about this humidor! It's compact enough to fit in my office without being in the way, yet it's large enough to hold several hundred cigars.
I love that the digital display can easily be seen across the room, yet it's not blindingly bright.
And the digital hygrometer! I think newair might be the only company using digital hygrometers!
The stainless steel trim presents a very modern look to the unit, but the classic Cedar trays still says vintage humidor.
I don't think this humidor is lacking in one single thing.

I should’ve bought this sooner

Humidor arrived within a week of being ordered. With the exception of a few barely noticeable dents at the top of the door, it arrived in excellent condition. I let it season for two and a half days before using. Many reviews describe the humidity reaching almost 80% during seasoning process, but mine never went above 74% which was exactly 5% above where I wanted it to be, and it took several hours before it ever got that high. Now it holds an even 69%. At this point, since it holds humidity great and the temp is around 70°, the only time I plug it up is if the temp goes above 72°and I set the thermometer to 69°. I thought I’d come close to filling it up, but I can’t fit all of my cigars inside and I mainly smoke robustos so 250 is not an accurate count description; maybe more like 175-200. Overall it’sa good purchase and I will NEVER go back to a wooden humidor.

The unit looks and smells great. The temperature control does not work for cold spaces (my uninsulated 'cigar shack' outside gets too cold at night for the heater in this unit to keep up (and I knew this before purchase, but decided to give it a try)... Now, in a room with ambient 68 degrees temperature, when I set the temperature on the unit to 70, it doesn't reach 70 (just 68-69). So, I suspect the accuracy of the temperature setting isn't very accurate. Also, a fan is on all the time- never stops... We'll see if it drives me nuts. Seasoning is currently in process and I expect things to work well once the sticks go in the box.

polyfoam inside the fan unit and poor customer ser

I bought this in about a week. Cleaned it seasoned it, plugged it in. The humidity has been around 80-90% ever since! I only had 10-20 cigars in, a boveda 69% pack, and thats it!
Just now I found that there is polyfoam around the fan unit, and that is why all the humidity is trapped inside the humidor.

Excellent Temperature Controlled Humidor

I have an older humidor from Newair which continues to go strong but this new one is an improvement from the previous releases. The airflow is significantly improved so there are no dead spots. The addition of a digital hygrometer is also a great improvement over the analog ones since they are way more accurate and is within 1% of my Xikar hygrometer.

Great So far as a Humidor. The lock could use work

This is brand new and it’s on it’s 6th day of seasoning. So far everything is working as it should. I must say, the locking mechanism is pretty terrible. The Door latches to a plate installed on the bottom of the enclosure, and I’ve already had someone mistake the locked door as a stuck door and try and pull on it. Luckily it wasn’t too hard and I have absolutely no need for the lock.

I received my NewAir humidor about a week ago and this thing is user friendly, roomy, and sexy! Not only does it keep my collection at the perfect temperature all year round, but it's a beautiful piece of furniture. Love my new humidor from NewAir. I found it very easy to set up and acclimate to proper humidity and temp. It has remained accurate and super easy to maintain once cigars are added! Would definitely recommend!!
