So far so good, it seems like a quality unit. I just completed the two week seasoning period. The hygrometer is off 2-3 degrees and there does not appear to be an easy way to adjust it. My recommendation is to add a standalone hygrometer to the unit for monitoring the humidity levels.

I've had about 5 weeks to familiarize myself with the units. Carrying a hefty price tag of $400 for 250 cigars is not something for your average cigar Joe. If you are an avid and particular fan of cigars like me, this is the ideal unit to purchase as it's one of the closest set it and forget units in the market. The only two negatives I have to say is the depth of the unit (quite bulky on the back end) and wishing there was a better solution for humidification (perhaps incorporating an active humidification unit) so that all the user has to do is fill a reservoir with distilled water.

I love it, but there needs to be seasoning instructions and suggestions provided with it. Im fighting humidity issues.

The unit looks and smells great. The temperature control does not work for cold spaces (my uninsulated 'cigar shack' outside gets too cold at night for the heater in this unit to keep up (and I knew this before purchase, but decided to give it a try)... Now, in a room with ambient 68 degrees temperature, when I set the temperature on the unit to 70, it doesn't reach 70 (just 68-69). So, I suspect the accuracy of the temperature setting isn't very accurate. Also, a fan is on all the time- never stops... We'll see if it drives me nuts. Seasoning is currently in process and I expect things to work well once the sticks go in the box.

This humidor is just what I needed. Very easy to set up and get going. I am very impressed with the quality of this humidor. I love the cedar shelving/draw. I would highly recommend this to any cigar lover out there. Oh did I mention how great it is to have a digital hygrometer. Great job with this humidor Newair. Two thumbs up
