this is an excellent unit - very pleased. its getting a bad rap on many reviews, the fan does run all of the time - but its a circulation fan, its supposed to run all of the time. Some folks feel that this is due to an inadequate cooling unit that "cant catch up" Would be helpful if Newair provide more detailed instructions on how to maintain humidity in the unit. Other than that, if you've never experience cigars kept in a temperature and humidity controlled environment, you don't know what you're missing. The flavor opens up dramatically...

I bought Newair our my husband - our 5th anniversary: cigars = paper = trees = wood! Didnt quite know how to set up humidity & temp properly. I reached out via email to customer service and Fern, Newair service agent, was very prompt and very detailed on how to properly prep humidor for long lasting results. Great Service and Great Unit!!!! My husband loves it!

Compact and Lockable

I enjoy keeping a small supply of cigars at my house. To do this I needed a good humidor. NewAir made just what was needed. It is small, compact, lockable, and holds a good amount of cigars at the right temperature and humidity to have them on hand for when your friends stop bye or if your going to have a poker game with the guys.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent for cigars!

This is perfect for your cigars! I love how quick and easy it was to set up. I like my cigars are 70/70 and it does it flawlessly! A really great touch is the digital hygrometer. I never liked the analog. I use 2 other digital hygrometers inside the humidor and they all read 1-2% of each other for humidity (One on top shelf and one at the bottom) All 3 read the same temperature. This is a great purchase!

I will not buy this product again

The fan/motor on these new models is very loud. I contacted the manufacturer about it and they said to e-mail a video of it. I did this. Later they e-mailed me back stating this is normal. I guess I made a bad decision and now have to live with it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
