The RT AX3000 satisfied all my needs, and provided more extras I didn't expect. I was using an AC1750 router. It maxed out at 249Mb download speed and would not work in a dead spot in the family room, even in a 1550 sq ft home. I had to get an extender, that worked 70% of the time.
The RT AX3000 eliminated the dead spot and I get 369Mb download speeds, even on my cell
phone! My son even can use his laptop, phone and game system in the basement! It even comes with built in Lifetime security software! When you first connect it and turn it on, it tells you to first upgrade the firmware.

Went From a Slowpoke Router to an ASUS Screamer!

I needed to replace our old(er) Spectrum router. We live in a 2 story house and have HDTVs on each level and the basement. Also, a laptop. Download speeds varied from 70 mbps to 85. A lot of buffering at times.
I decided to replace the modem and the router, choosing the RT-AX3000. Installed very easily. Spectrum activated it and it was off to the races! All download speeds varied from 250 to 300+ and the basement HDTV was 275. I am so glad I did the research and chose this great router.

While replacing my old modem with an updated model I accidently set a shook through my old Asus Router that apparently toasted it.
The only router I could get instore without ordering and having a two to three day wait was Netgear. Installed the competitor’s router that day, within twenty-four hours, my WI-FI network went down requiring a Technical service call. With the help of the Technician my Wi-Fi network was up and running again. However, every other day after that my network would go down, requiring a power-down and restart of the router. A week later I ordered the ASUS RT-AX3000 router, installed it and returned the competitor’s router.
The ASUS router was easy to install, has been trouble free and works great. Even has the range to provide WI-FI signal to my pole barn where I previously only a signal using a WI-FI extender.
I highly recommend the ASUS RT-AX3000 Router!

I really like the ASUS AX3000 router. It has been working just great connecting up to all my products in the house. I also don’t need a extender anymore as this one covers the whole house now. And the best of all is I’m able to stream movies, without interrupt, which was a problem with my 10 year old rotor. And Wi-Fi is blazing fast with this new one 350 Mb per second down which is what I am paying for. I also absolutely love the app that runs on my phone, which allows me to complete control of the router settings!
