[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave this as a wedding gift. They already had a rice cooker but guess what the other one went to the in-laws who now visit them for dinner! Need I say more!

So far, pretty good. The white rice, which I have not normally eaten, was fantastic; the grains did not glom on to each other and the taste was really eye-opening. The brown rice, by comparison, sticks together. together. I guess I need to experiment somehow, though there seems no avenue for that other than adding or decreasing water. It’s a mystery. I am making good use of the oatmeal setting. The user manual needs a professional touch. It’s too all-over-the-place. If there were a professionally prepared Zojirushi cookbook, that too might be a big plus. As it is, I probably won’t use most of the options.

If your brown rice is a too sticky for your preference, then please try adding water slightly below the corresponding measuring line on the pan next time. This will improve the texture of the rice. Makes perfect rice just like people say it does. Was easy to use. I only made white rice so far, but it turned out just as good as what you would get at any Chinese or Japanese restaurant.

I absolutely love my AI rice cooker which takes the guess work out of cooking the perfect rice which I eat everyday! I’ve been using a pressure cooker prior to purchasing this product and I can really taste the difference...the rice is sweeter and fluffier and more tasty with the perfect texture. I also love the one button settings for oatmeal, mixed rice, brown rice, jasmin & congee. Also, it starts and ends with a Twinkle Little Star tune...so cute!
