This PC was purchased to replace a Dell Workstation. On the plus side the keyboard is nice, and the unit is much thinner and lighter than the Dell, though no # pad. The screen is beautiful but flashes randomly during the day and when ever connecting a second screen or the docking station. the docking station is really bad. Its expensive and requires two cables from the dock to the PC its almost unusable really (the dock). I had to manually configure and enable the fingerprint reader and windows hello, both of which were disabled upon reciept.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The work laptop I needed had to have specific features related to video editing. Being able to edit features on the website helped tremendously. My ThinkPad is doing the job and feels very natural, it is my third Lenovo product. Thank you all.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my ThinkPad P1 (first generation) with this new Gen 3 version, and the upgrade has been great. I opted for the i7-10850H, T2000 Graphics, and 4K display. I'm a Linux user, and since Lenovo is going to offer this system with Fedora installed in the near future, that's what I installed. The fingerprint reader works perfectly in Linux where in the first gen it didn't work at all. Connection to the Thunderbolt Workstation dock is MUCH more stable in this version on Linux. It's still not perfect, but it's significantly better. My only complaint is battery life while running on the discrete graphics, but that is somewhat expected.
