[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laptop has impressed me with both its performance and its graphics. I have done application design and execution, running large databases and files with no issues. I have also been able to run online games that require strong graphics processing with absolutely no issues.

Terrible laptop

I have owned this laptop for 1.5 years and it has been nothing but problems. The fans come on constantly, the laptop shuts down randomly and causes me to lose my work, and the battery life is absolutely awful. The laptop randomly restarting and causing me to lose my progress has to be one of the most frustrating things I've ever dealt with in a computer.
I can confidently say it is the worst laptop I have ever purchased in my 20 years of buying laptops.
I bought 4 lenovos for our small business because they were supposed to be extremely reliable. I will switch to apple when my small business can afford it. My apple laptop has excellent battery life and has never failed me...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The keyboard is really really nice to type on (one thing that Lenovo's known for), touchpad is responsive, and the port selection is great (USB-C, USB 3.0, SD card reader, full-HDMI, etc.).
