[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It feels Much lighter than the spec 3.75 lbs. The grip and the smooth edges is very comfortable when carrying the laptop around. I really like the keyboard feel, especially not having any sharp corner to dig into my arms like the Mac Pro laptops. Great for office work. The finger print reader is fast and accurate to log in.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, the laptop has performed greatly for gaming, watching videos, school word, and browsing. Also the startup and application launching speed is very fast, making it stress free. The fan is surprisingly quiet and only really noticeable when using graphic intensive software.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A reliable workhorse. I purchased this in emergency because my old laptop suddenly stopped working. This is the laptop I mostly use for work from home, but also for international business travels a few times a year. It has this legendary and classic Lenovo keyboard that I am so used to and enjoy. It also has the 15" screen without compromising the portability - a 14" is okay for pure work from home because I can connect to external displays, but it is tough for my age when traveling. This P1 strikes the right balance.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very well built product. The Thinkpad keyboard is the best I have ever used. With 2 US-A, 2 USB-C and an HDMI port it can cover anything you can think of. My heavy use is in Photoshop/Lightroom and the processer/graphics card combo never slows down. It has probably saved 10-15% of my processing time, I never have to wait for the processor to catch up. I use a RGB calibrated monitor so my time using the screen is limited, but it looks close when I review images on the laptop screen. My only complaint is the print screen key is at the bottom of the keyboard, right where right little finger usually rests. I now have a lot of screenshots!
