[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm thrilled with this machine, my first Lenovo. I specced it for programming and data analysis work, with the idea to add additional memory and storage capacity. It was critical that the laptop have accessible slots for memory and two SSDs, and indeed, these were easy to upgrade with only a small phillips head screwdriver. Lenovo additionally provides a thorough pdf service manual that details replacement of most components, including the screen. For a computer < 3/4" thick, this degree of serviceability is quite impressive.
My three main complaints are relatively minor and can be remedied:
1) The PgUp and PgDn buttons are too easy to press accidentally. I swapped their functionality with the Home & End keys, for more convenience while programming. It's a nuisance to do that for the built-in keyboard while keeping external keyboards as is. (Search for AutoHotInterception on github for the method I found.)

2) The indicator lights for CapsLock, FnLock, mute and mic mute are obscenely bright. I couldn't find any way to disable them through software, BIOS or registry. Fortunately, you can pop off the key caps and cover the offending LEDs with dark filters, so they are only a gently glow when active.
3) Likewise, the dumb LED at the top of the case, the dot of the 'i' in ThinkPad, is much too bright. It pulses all night long when the computer is asleep. From others' posts online, this has been a longstanding nuisance across thinkpad models. Black sharpie turns it into a soft red glow. Others use electrical tape.
Ideally, Lenovo would provide options for those complaints.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lightweight, powerful, excellent mobile package. Using for AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up and other work programs for an Architecture firm. Poor battery life, but assume expected for a laptop of this performance. 4k OLED touch screen is amazing.

Even though, the laptop is upgraded to be extremely powerful. The ISV certification seem to be failing with my specific software (Rhinoceros). There's no LAN / Ethernet connection which is a bit of a problem when working with big data cloud info. Battery is good enough, but not as powerful as expected. And one small think that always bother me, personally, is no USB to the left side. In the other hand, it as comfortable as a laptop can get. Light, Small enough, powerful, beautiful screen, lots of perks in the hardware and great High Res stuff.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great system - fast, smooth, FHD screen (400 nit model) is bright and clear. If you need a capable low-end but highly portable (weight feels "light") workstation (or mid-high end personal laptop) with decent battery life, this is a good system. Great for not-too-complicated CAD and modeling and almost any GIS work except complex 3-D datasets.
