I also learned the hard way that the on-board graphics (which I always buy the LOWEST end) will passthru as the third output on the docking station. So plan accordingly if you have three monitors you want to attach.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent unit. This is my 4th Thinkpad. All excellent. The high res screen is especially great. As usual, the keyboard is Lenovo quality. Everything works as specified. Only issue is the touch pen...did not arrive with the shipment and is nowhere to be found. Easy to understand why Lenovo sets the standard for others.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was fairly pricey (2000) for a laptop without some basic features you can find in much less expensive models, like a touchscreen or numeric keypad.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded to this laptop from a Thinkpad W530 and have been very impressed with its speed, especially how fast it boots up. And it is much lighter and thinner than my old one, so I think it will be much better for travel. The screen is very nice, too. Overall, I cannot think of anything negative or critical to say about this laptop so far.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thinkpad P1 Gen 3 is a lightweight powerhouse that merges the power of a workstation and the portability of a modern day thin and light 15.6-inch laptop. The fiberglass cover added a subtle style and welcoming modernization to already perfect Thinkpad professional-class appearance. The 4k OLED True Black display is gorgeous and brilliant; however, it is much more power hungry than its IPS FHD and UHD counterparts.
